First time at Peruvian Brothers. The beef empanada was delicious ! It is one of the best ones I have tried in this area in a long time. The Pan con Chicharron was good, I just wish the bread was more toasty. It tasted very good, and that's why my 4 stars review. Overall, It was good. Next time, I'll try the ceviche, and hopefully, I won't be disappointed like I was in the past in other places. I will definitely come back.
I've eaten lunch here twice. It's a short walk from my office. The food is tasty, cooked well, & portions are just right. Both times, I've gotten the fish bowl. The mahi mahi fillet is cooked perfectly. I've also tried the spinach & cheese empanada & the beef empanada. I like that it's baked & not fried. I've also ordered the alfajor cookies. Those are the most delicious, buttery, crumbly cookies. They simply melt in your mouth. When I eat here, I get the fish bowl, an empanada, & an alfajor cookie. It comes out to about $30, which is a little pricey for a lunch spot, but I'm always happy with my meal.
Pretty good chicken overall all and the food in general was good flavor. Definitely something you want to get fresh because if not the chicken can dry out. The fries were good and so was the rice. Just wish the packaging was a little better and came in a different to go containerFood: 5/5
After an ISACA-GWDC event at Amazon Events Center, a group of attendees had happy hour/dinner at Peruvian Brothers. Most of us sat at the bar with overflow to the tables. Michael and other staff were friendly, hospitable, and efficient. My fiancé enjoyed the Chilcano cocktail, a pisco cocktail made with ginger ale and lime juice, and a Yuengling Lager. I enjoyed a Maracuya Pisco Sour Slushie, a passion fruit flavored frozen pisco sour, Pisco Punch, a pisco cocktail made with pineapple juice and lemon juice, and Sangria made with red wine, cognac, and orange juice. All of the cocktails were fruity and refreshing. While waiting for our food, we were given a small bucket of peruvian popcorn. My fiancé and I shared an order of crispy Calamari served with an aioli. Between the Lomo Saltado with Tallarin Noodles and Lomo Saltado with Rice and French Fries, we liked the latter more. Other people in our party enjoyed Cheese Empanadas, various sandwiches including Chicarron Sandwich and Triple Sandwich, Chicken, and Yuca Fries. Vegetarian options: Cheese, Spinach & Cheese, or Impossible Beef Empanadas, Triple Sandwich, Vegetable Saltado, All Sides, All Desserts
not just best Peruvian, but best food period in D.C! Great atmosphere, sit down up-scale or hangout by the bar for lunch/happy hour. 5 Star Staff & Service.Food: 5/5
I stopped by here for a quick meal during lunch hour. The service was very good, very welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu and they make sure I was happy with my order. Great experience, I’m definitely coming back here just because of the great service although the food was delicious.Food: 5/5
This place is outstanding!! I made a reservation the day before because we were going to do a quick dinner birthday celebration for work. Andres went above and beyond and decorated the tables with balloons as a nice surprise!! Food was amazing. We had lomo a lo pobre, shrimp and chicken a lo pobre. They were really really authentic and delicious! Beef empanadas were incredible! Def such a nice spot at work! Thank you very much
We tried this new restaurant for lunch today - the staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly!! The inside was very nice and clean with plenty of seating for a casual meal. We tried the beef empanada and the dark meat rotisserie chicken with primavera rice. The chicken was well seasoned and moist!! The prices are great - the 1/4 chicken was only $6, sides are extra. Overall great experience, definitely recommend!
The sirloin was definitely delicious. Some pieces were softer than others.. The sauce it's made in was delicious and I loved how crispy the fries turned out. I did really like the service and recommendations but they forgot to give me my paid for avacado.Food: 5/5
If you don’t come here it’s truly your loss. The food was great. I’m gonna nitpick and say the chicken in the empanadas this time around was dry and over. But it’s an easy fix. I never tried the beef, that’s next. Spinach never fails so. Delicious but also healthy wholesome food, look no further. I truly wish they would expand.Food: 4/5
