I have been a customer with the Pet Doctor for two years and have spent thousands of dollars on my three dogs, including a retired military dog. In my experience the staff and Dr. Kevin have been very kind and caring with my dogs. However, the owner who is the primary veterinarian (Dr. Stephanie) is extremely unprofessional. Despite the initial signs of her rudeness and being unprofessional, I was naive to continue going to the Pet Doctor because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and because I really liked the staff. Recently I became more frustrated with Dr. Stephanie's behavior which included being unthoughtful and frankly unethical, when I needed a prescription for heart medicine for my retired military working dog (who recently was diagnosed with heart disease) and Dr. Stephanie failed to authorize the release of the prescription (that I had been told was ready) had prevented me from being able to get the required medication in a timely manner. There were further incidents which occurred, but are too lengthy for this one post, that led to my final decision to seek care for my 12 year old retired military dog elsewhere. He deserves the best care he can get during these later years of his life as he bravely served his country. And Dr. Stephanie has demonstrated her inability to facilitate his proper care. As long as Dr. Stephanie continues to have ownership and control over the quality of care animals receive at the Pet Doctor, I would caution against seeking care at the Pet Doctor. Care for your beloved pet and read some of the other reviews. Some of which I agree Dr. Stephanie is not compassionate and is rude. A final demonstration of how unprofessional and spiteful Dr. Stephanie is, today I went to pick up my military dog's final prescription food for his kidney's and I was told Dr. Stephanie said she will not give a prescription. Seriously, this behavior is unethical to deny the health and welfare of an animal as a veterinarian who swore an oath by this standard and the blatant disregard for his well being fully knowing his condition and medical needs.

Terrible place. Hidden fees everywhere, they are major scammers. All they want is money and they try to charge you for literally ANYTHING they can. Please please do not take your pet here. There are way better vets around

I will never, never, never take any animal of mine here again. It’s taken me a while to write this review but I honestly feel I have to. I took my cat there over year ago, over and over and they kept telling me it was a UTI and an ear infection. Was charged over and over. Finally had to take my cat, who had stopped eating completely, to a different vet. It was NOT a UTi or an ear infection. I ended up having to put my cat to sleep. I am 100% convinced that had I gotten a proper diagnosis in the first place my poor baby might be alive. I ward everyone I know against this place.

Great vets. Good prices and options for pet meds. Easy to make appointments.

They are cheap on some of their pricing, but on the other hand they want to do every little thing even if it's unnecessary to make more money!
