I have shopped Pet Quarters in Waterville Me for 6 years now. I get all my dog supplies there for my Sandy. On Valentine's day we decided to add to our family and purchased 2 guinea pigs. We got everything necessary from, rice pops to vitamin C tables, sticks , the paper (not shavings, wasn't good for them) nice big cage ,etc. $254.50 total! Gus and Chester were $40 each. Sadly after a 7 1/2  days, we had to return them. That's when I was told they could take back the guinea pigs but I would not be refunded the money I paid for them! What!!?? That's $80.00 that the company or should I say "OWNERS" are pocketing! I emphasize "OWNERS" because I was told "they" don't allow it! EXCUSE ME???? I went to a pet store and bought something from you! We were NEVER TOLD AT TIME OF PURCHASE AND DURING VISIT PRIOR NON-REFUNDABLE, BUT WE'LL TAKE THEM BACK AND RESELL !!  I found out today when I brought them back with everything else, that we should have been given a little pink paper with a one week warranty if one dies they would replace it. Wasn't told that either!!! Brittany, the manger was amazing. She is always so pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. She wasn't there when we got them. She was whom I brought the guinea pigs back to this morning. To the "OWNERS",  I'm pretty sure that's not legal and I WANT MY $80.00 YOU OWE ME! I will keep in touch and will go further if necessary!  Jenn Pomelow

Convenient but way too much room and barely enough products to fill the space it has. 3 stars for helping the Humane Society find homes for their little orphans.

Great place, always very helpful.  If you have any questions they will try to answer them and if they can't, they will give you a name and # of someone who can.  They have a rewards program for the larger bags of dogfood.  I think they ask you at checkout if you have an account, or want to sign up for one.  Parking isn't the best, but people park where ever.  It seems to work.  It isn't usually very busy, which makes it great for a quick checkout.

Not a very expansive variety of foods. Usually only one or two staff members. Would rather go to PetSmart.

My daughter and I went to pet quarters in waterville maine on12/10/16 around 5 pm to pick up stuff for my new kitten which was a maine.coon the lady that we we getting the kitten from was gone meet us there to get the cat in the process of transferring the to my car she escape it was very cold out that night about 13above  the 3 girls that were working that night molly Izza and Brittney we so helpful and caring in trying to get my cat after the store closed they help look for the kitten until 930pm this tells me these girls  work in the right place I want the person or persons who owns this store that they have the best the next day the kitten was found behind the building by girl that had given her to me I want to thank everyone who help in the search from the bottom of my heart love you all Also VIP for letting us use a flashlight  showing that waterville maine.is a very caring city Diane Bonito and Rhonda  Bonito Thomad thanks again I have my kitten she safe and warm
