Sale items are in stock,  clerks are friendly.  They assist local rescues by allowing tabling,  placement of boxes to collect donated food for homeless animals. However,  they sell parrots, particularly conures. Conures are cute but very loud. They are not suitable for most homes due to their volume.  As with dogs and cats,  there is a huge overpopulation of parrots due to breeding. Selling parrots encourages this and results in many parrots having up to 12 homes during their lifetime, often spending years in small cages,  fed inadequate diets. Parrots really are not companion animals and should be left in the wild.  This is the only reason for the 4 star rating.  Pet Supplies Plus is fabulous in every other way.
