I have never had a bad experience here. They always have the products I need, or they have been honest about where I can find the products. (I've done a few special orders through them.) The aisles are a bit small, but the selection is amazing. The prices are on par with prices I've paid at other small business pet retail stores. They were even really nice when I got out of work really late one night and came in 3 minutes before closing . I knew exactly what I wanted, so that probably helped, but I greatly appreciated the compassion they had for that last-minute necessary trip for supplies.

Store personnel are always helpful and will even offer to carry a large bag of food out to the car! The well-cared animals that are for sale are not from a "mill" or large corporation. They should be proud to be THE ONLY PRIVATE-OWNED pet supply store that has generously granted their large storefront to a separately run cat shelter! What an amazing arrangement!

Nice location, but the prices are a little outrageous. They do have a wide selection of reptile supplies which is the only reason I go in. But the prices are better at other places. Inside is nice and big and the staf is very friendly.

This store is amazing!!! They have the best selection of supplies for any pet that you have. The selection of birds and fish are the best bar none! And are healthy! I love that the staff has been the same for years. Im known by name Everytime I walk in. They also have a cat adoption center (Kitty City) in the store which is amazing. The cats are not caged, but are in a colony. Petco and PetSmart will never be able to compete with these store, It's one of the last real remaining pet stores. The giant stores have a horrible selection as the use automatic replenishment. The corporate offices out west control everything even the air conditioning, lol! They hire young kids that have no knowledge of animals or product. They are given policy and procedures books to read which in some cases are wrong!!! So if you want the best go to this store! And yes I know a lot about this because a store that I worked for was sold out to Petco. It was horrible! I resigned in just under a year, and went to another real pet store! Im in Florida now, and wish that they had a store like that down here!! Good luck if you use the big stores!

Awful customer service. My husband and I saw a cute guinea pig and wanted to hold on to see if it would be a good pet for us. I asked the lady that didn’t even seem like she wanted to be there if I could hold the guinea pig. She made a face and said “well, are you interested in buying one today?” I replied “well, no we are still deciding—“ she cuts me off and says “because I can’t let you hold one if...” I don’t even remember her entire phrase because my husband and I felt like a bother and felt extremely disappointed how we were treated. Won’t be coming back. I rather go to Petco or Petsmart since I know I will be treated well.
