Despite having significant symptoms indicating a hormonal issue, I've received the same tests and no answers for a year. There is very little follow-up care and the moment they see that I have depression/anxiety, I get treated as though my symptoms are imagined instead of indicative of something more serious. I've been shuffled between departments, asked for referrals to an endocrinologist, but they will not refer me or give me the tests I've asked for based on genetic predispositions to certain autoimmune disorders that fit the symptoms I'm having. The OB that they shuffled me off to was so condescending and uncaring, she nearly made me cry during my visit. The day the front of my neck physically swelled up and I went in to have it checked, the doctor (who could hardly keep her head up or keep a train of thought because she was "sorry but she's very tired today") told me it was just anxiety... (I forgot that anxiety causes swollen necks. silly me.) When I left the exam room to use the restroom after asking for tests and being denied them despite the other symptoms and now the swollen front of my neck, I could hear the extraordinarily unprofessional doctor and nurse talking not so kindly about me and about how patients always think they know best. How dare I, a 27 year old woman with menopausal symptoms increasing in severity, ask for several different tests (rather than the ones I've already had 4 times) in an effort to get to the cause of the symptoms. I am extremely disappointed and angry. I may just be a patient but I expect to be treated like they care about my well-being during the appointments rather than making me feel like a burden because I tried to advocate for my health. I've never written a google or yelp review before but they've certainly earned this one.

Made an appointment for immunization shots for 9:30am.  Revived my notice a day in advance. When I got there our health care provider was not working today. Now they can't set up,a new appointment for over an hour. Very unprofessional.

Great care but very difficult to make appointments. Make sure your battery is fully charged before you call!

The Heath Center is a joke. I was injured by an errant driver and hurt my neck. I called the Health Center in order to see my regular doctor to be evaluated, and they REFUSED to see me. They said they "don't" see people involved in auto accidents because they have had issues with Auto Insurance Companies. I have a health insurance I pay over $2,200 per month for, and in all the years I've ever been hit by a driver, (3 times in 35 years), not once have I been refused treatment. That's because my Insurance pays the costs, then they deal with the Auto Insurance Company to get reimbursed. 

Instead, I had to go to the local ER and take the space of a person in REAL need, spend over 4 hours waiting to be evaluated, (just to get an X-Ray), which the Health Center could have taken care of in 5 minutes. ER's are not for this type of thing. Heck.....even when I called my Insurance Carrier's Nurses Hot-Line, they had not ever heard of such an idiotic rule to not see an injured patient and they were going to report this. Avoid this place like the plague if you're ever hurt in a car accident. You'll thank me later.

EDIT: I filed a complaint right after this occurred with my Insurance Carrier's Customer Service department. After a few weeks, I was notified in writing that the Health Center was now required to amend its standing "policy" of not treating patients involved in vehicle accident's, (that didn't require services of an Emergency Department or Trauma Center). I would not have made such a big deal of this if it had not cost me over $4000 along with nearly a 4 hour wait for me to go to an Emergency Room to be told I only had a neck strain. This could have easily been done in a 15 minute visit with my Primary Care Physician. But it's fixed and I'm glad the Health Center was open minded about such a poor policy decision.
