I am rating the dog trainer who we had the most terrible experience with. She never asked the families in our class questions about our schedules, home life, family dynamics, type of residence, or anything else that might help her understand how to best help us. She did, on the other hand, make a lot of assumptions about students, on day one, without knowing any of us. She spent a lot of time in each class lecturing us about her negative experiences with other families who had been in her previous classes, and made sure we understood her pet peeves, as she called them. We were not allowed to speak out of turn, and she used the “stay” hand position to quieten grown adult human beings like we were puppies. She likes to hear herself talk and tell her stories to the point that families can’t get a word in edge-wise to ask clarifying questions or even answer questions that she asks. She’s painfully self-centered and it’s her show. In each class, she truthfully twirls, story tells, and performs for about 40 minutes of the 60 minute class. No exaggeration. The class is about her, and is not at all family or dog focused. My son and I were very disappointed because we thought we would have a chance to interact and get to know the other dog owners, and work with a trainer who wanted to know about our dog and our experiences at home. Finally, our rambunctious Jack Russell Terrier seemed to be too much for her to handle. He was all over the place, and she kept deferring us off to the next week saying he was too tired or too hyped up to train that day. Well, yeah, he’s a high energy dog, that’s why we were seeking obedience school. If she can’t get him to listen and obey, how did she expect first-time dog owners to be able to figure it out alone at home? This was the worse experience ever. Save your money, sometimes “deals” or not really deals. I’m prepared to pay more for a professional and highly skilled trainer who can teach to our specific situation and very active dog.

Great store and staff.  The employees are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Our two dogs have also had grooming and training through this (7 mile - Livonia) location.  It's one of my favorite pet places. Definitely recommend.

Nice place but the only reason I gave it a four is because there isn't enough of a selection for bigger dogs. Only seen 1 xl jacket and slim pickings on collars. Other than that live the place.

Can I say price gouging on alot of products such as reptile bedding, special cat litters and Science Diet won't take none printed coupons or competition coupons if on phone so gotta go elsewhere for majority of my stuff. ALSO some people might not have time to print competitors coupon just so you 'decide' whether or not to take it is utter ridiculous. No knowledgeable assistance and slim choices all more reason along with prices $$$ here but pet supplies and petsmart for same thing is $ I don't see my loyalty wirth much here where it is elsewhere, also yes checked my email including junk mail no coupons and for what when I enrolled.

The people here were super polite, professional and extremely helpful! I was having a Hard time with finding the collars, (apparently I'd went passed them without even realizing it. lol) & one of the Employees helped me find them! :) a little bit expensive for their stuff unless it's on sale, but you're DEFINITELY getting your money's worth!
