First time I've been back, as my last visit a couple years ago it didn't seem clean, plus it was dim and had a bad odor. Looks like they've remodeled, though, as it was clean and well lit. Would have been a lot better had someone asked if I needed help since I spent quite awhile looking for something in the fish area and none of the employees approached me. Yes, I could have hunted someone down and asked for help, but I guess I've been spoiled by places like Ace Hardware and Publix. I ended up not making a purchase since I couldn't find what I needed...and no one noticed me leaving empty-handed.

Went in for dog tug...bought 2 tugs and frisbee. Employees always helpful. Cashier went out of her way to show me how to use $5 credit on my account. I think it is great that Petco shows it's appreciation by giving these out.

The animals residing seem to be well taken care of, with none of the usual complaints about chain pet stores which is refreshing. However, that's not what I find irritating about this store. Their conures are EXTREMELY overpriced. Most notably, their sun conures. I have never seen a sun conure priced above 400$ (and that's at the pricey end, with most being 300$ or less) but the baby here was priced at a whopping 700$. It's a true shame, as I was thinking about possibly bringing him home.
