Pete’s is a really nice grocery store. They pretty much have everything you could want. Once you get passed the fact its in an area that’s not considered “safe” you will be presently surprised. The vegetable section is massive and filled with every kind of green leafed vegetable and fruit you could imagine. They have a great cold cut meat and cheese section.They also have homemade sides like slaw and beetroot salad etc. There’s also a great looking sushi section where they make it fresh in front of you. And after all this there os the meat section and the frozen food section and of course canned food and boxed food. There is also fresh made bread and donuts,cakes,cheese cakes and flowers and last but not least they have a massive liquor section. 
Finally the staff are helpful and check outs are always fast and ladies there are friendly.Try it out and you won’t. Be disappointed

I love this Pete's. (All Pete's are a little different depending on the neighborhood they are in). It has a large made to order section that has healthy options and reasonably priced if you don't feel like cooking a meal for yourself at home. The taco bowls are fantastic. And of course, their fresh produce is unparalleled to other big grocery stores.

I only gave it 3 stars because the don't cater very well to seniors.
I am required to leave my ID at the service desk to get an electric cart. I have to walk around the store and cashiers to get to the service desk. I have much difficulty walking. For me it is exhausting. Then, i have to leave the cart inside and transfer everything to a regular cart.
I guess they only want "normal" people in their store. So be it.
They do have the best produce and deli around but again, it's not for me; too difficult to shop in.

Quite a surprise to find such a good grocery store this far into the city... I really wish I had a bigger list of things to get other than water and beer... I did however, pick up a Kombucha Tea I've never seen before. Hopefully next time my list is bigger next time I'm in the area. The selection of fresh fruits and vegetables are rare, compared to grocery stores in St Louis

I've been going to this market for four years. And I must say it is 'that' grocery store you always see in the news. Very neat and clean. From a variety of exotic fruits,to even a wide selection of the finest honeys. If you're not the type of person who really goes for fruits or salads, your cart will not leave out the door withoit one or the other.
