Walked in this store for the first time, and what an experience! So much stuff, great prices, and outstanding customer service! May helped us out and was so kind and so helpful. This will absolutely be our new store to shop for our fur baby! Thanks so much for everything team, you guys are the greatest!! I highly recommend this store! I'll start by saying that the store is very clean and organized. I understand that getting a new store and staff up and going can be difficult, but I'm a little upset about the fish department. Firstly, the set up is beautiful. Much more visually appealing than the Independence fish wall. But I was really frustrated with the amount of dead fish in the tanks. Nearly every tank had dead fish in them, and some were dying as I was there. It was obvious by the red gills that there was a high amount of ammonia in these tanks. The tanks looked clean, so I'm assuming the filters haven't fully cycled. This is why it is important to staff knowledgeable people in the right departments. The girl in the fish department was not only new to the staff, but new to the world of fish. Again, no fault of her own, she will learn in time. But the fact that it was so slow and no one was trying to get the dead fish out was upsetting at the very least. I spoke with another staff member who transferred from a different store, so she knew a little more about the department and I asked if they had a just gotten a new shipment of fish (which was my first guess as to why so many fish were dead and dying). She said they had one earlier in the week, but nothing recently. While I did purchase some fish here today, because I felt like I could properly rehabilitate them, I wouldn't blame anyone for passing these fish by, it's not a good look.

I recently was in your store to check it out, while your store is very nice I was appalled in how an employee berated another employee over having 2 pair of scissors in the fish department. Very rude behavior.
