This PetSmart is the best.  I now only visit the Schaumburg and Barrington location.  The staff is always so friendly and helpful.  They know how to make the customer feel important.  The manager has recommended products and is always upbeat and friendly.  She even remembers my pets.  I highly recommend!

I used to go to this location years ago with my other dog. Lately I've been going to Pet Supplies Plus. Pet Supplies Plus is a much more professional and friendly place to visit. As I was at this PetSmart location, my wife and I were looking for a protective collar for our dog. We found the display with an assortment of sizes. My wife pulled one off the rack to look at it, I realized it was too small and put it back. I tried to get a larger one from the back of the rack. Every time we tried to get it off of the rack more product would fall from above we kept picking everything up and putting everything back on the display. It seemed to be hung up on something. I walked to the front of the store where I saw three employees by the register talking. One of them walked away in the opposite direction the other two stood there talking not acknowledging me. So I went back to the display to try to get the larger one off again. As I tugged on the larger collar from the back of the rack their display slightly tipped. I caught it before it fell. However, a woman who I'm guessing may have been a store manager came running to the rack yelling what are you doing? Saying out loud in the store I don't want you to destroy our display. She said you should have asked for help, I told her I went to the front to ask for help and was not acknowledged so I went back. She said in a very condescending tone I assure you, you were not being ignored as she was picking things up trying to get them back on the display. How a minor accident could cause such an unprofessional display of character, I truly do not know. Needless to say, I will not go to PetSmart again. I'm much happier with pet Supplies Plus.

PetSmart has gotten on board with other places by bringing in more choices of pet food. Especially ultra-premium brand dog and cat foods. I do think treats\toys can be a bit over priced. I also don't like the fact that they do training sessions during business hours. You want to see something in the training area and you feel like you're in the way or you stop yourself from petting the cute little puppy that's trying to jump all over you because he's in a "training" session. It's a little uncomfortable.

This is my favorite petsmart in my area. Has the most knowledgeable employees . Always get greeted with a smile. Very clean.

I was a customer in this store today, and I witnessed a clerk and manager belittle a lady and call her a thief for having a coupon for a free bag of dog food. I have never in my life seen people treat people with such little respect. The clerks name was Daunies, she was so rude, and the manager Riva was not any better. It was like they were trying to be mean. The lady did nothing wrong, and was treated so badly. I have shopping at petsmart for almost 10 years. Getting food for my dog and buying all my fish supplies. I am never shopping at petsmart again. I will be going to petco and pets supply from now on. At least there I know they treat all their customers with respect. And are friendly to everyone.
