PetsSmart is a great pet store. They have a wide variety of quality dog food, as well as foods for cats, gerbils, amphibians,  birds, etc. One of our dogs needs limited ingredient food and treats, which are both available there. They have dog training, which is very good. Both our dogs have gone through their training program. They have a good selection of pet toys, leashes, pet clothing and other accessories, as well as crates, pet beds, shampoo, ear wash, etc. The associates are friendly and helpful. We enjoy bringing our dogs into the store to visit whenever we are nearby. Their aquarium and fish department is pretty large and their fish are usually good quality and healthy. Pet Perks give you discounts so prices are good for the quality. Overall, great store.

The employees hate dealing with their fish apparently. Took my toddler to get a couple goldfish because fish are her favorite thing. Should be simple, right? Not exactly. 
After talking to a first employee (we'll call her Theannah) who was handling hermit crabs and asking for help, she says “Sure! I’ll be right back!” I wait ten minutes. Finally, a second employee shows up (let's call her Jordan) and I ask her if she can help me with a couple fish. She agrees and I tell her I would like a couple of gold fish (two of the millions swimming around in the feeder fish tank). She proceeds to talk me out of the feeder goldfish out of concern for their lifespan (because I ask about bowl care and whether the standard bowl I have chosen was appropriate). She directs me to the beta fish and I asked if she would be at the fish area still in a couple minutes as I probably just want some goldfish who are active. She says "Oh yeah! I'll be right here!" These betas were prepackaged and ready to purchase so I wouldn’t need an employee to help, but they were all just sitting there and not moving. I walk back after my daughter and I looked at around five of their betas who seemed the most lively, which wasn’t saying much. It had been around two minutes of beta looking and the employee was gone. Five minutes. Ten minutes. I walk up to the cashier (who was the first employee that said she would help then disappeared). I ask her for help with the fish. She calls employee two on ear piece and then tells me employee two will be meeting me at the fish wall. I walk back and wait for another five minutes. Back to employee one at register, who again radios employee two, then tells me it will be just a second. I start walking back to the fish section and she calls out an apology for the wait. I wait another five minutes and start cruising aisles, ready to put my bowl and supplies back at this point. I go back to the fish wall one more time because at this point my daughter kissed me because she was happy to be there and now I feel an obligation to not leave without fish for her. I spot employee two and walk over asking for help with two goldfish because she is just staring at a tank. She says “it will be just a second” and proceeds to start helping a gentleman and his daughter. Gentleman tells employee I was waiting first. He had seen me hanging out for awhile so I greatly appreciated the gesture. She ignores him (and me), and gives him information on the fish he was asking about before I walked up. I thank the gentleman. She then turns to me and I tell her I just would like two goldfish. She asks what kind. I tell her I don’t care. She bags two fish, but not before she makes it obvious she thinks I am being a difficult customer with eye rolls and snobby tone. We grab the fourteen cent fish and check out.
I just wanted two goldfish. If I would have known it was going to be that difficult, I would have just gone elsewhere.

I enjoy PetSmart, as they have a wide selection of pet supplies for all different kinds of pets. I have three cats, a tarantula, two rats, and two fish. I've only once been unable to find what I was looking for. However, there are more cost effective options for pet supplies in the area.

Friendly...friendly...friendly. From Banfield to Pet smart staff. Knowledgeable and very helpful. Most times when there is a long line they make every attempt to open a new cashier lone which is always appreciated.

The assistant manager checked me out and was super helpful. I adopted a new puppy and she recommended a coupon book that saved me A TON on all of the new puppy stuff I had to buy. Thank you!!!
