The new location is neat. The food was really good. My wife had the churasco salad and I had the beef and cheese empanada. Also mini arepas..... they were a little greasy but the area with cheese on top was our favorite. Going back.

The Pet Smart grooming staff at Rockaway, normally calls their client to schedule or remind us to schedule a grooming appointment due for your pet, which I was very happy with. I took time from my lunch hour to take my pet over for his appointment 1/16/18. To find out that my scheduled date and time was not showing in their system and that the appointment they did scheduled was in the system for January 23rd 2018. When on the 9th via phone they clearly told me next Tuesday and while on the phone with them I added to my calendar. The lady couldn't do anything about it, so I requested a manager, and another associate called the help and the manager named (Eddie) whom wasn't helpful at all responded. I explained what happened and his answer was "What would you like me to do?, if it's not in the system I mean there's nothing I can do about it." It is very upsetting to realize that after all this years of being a customer at this location, you would think or expect that they will treat you better or accommodate your needs. My dog had a surgery scheduled for 1/18/18 and I informed it to whomever called reminding me of my dog's grooming time due. I know Pet Smart doesn't care if they lose one customer or one dog. It is all business in the end, numbers is all that matters. But in my world it's the principals and morals in life that makes a difference in other's. A loyal customer will remain loyal in many occasions, because of the need of your services, but mostly because the great team, friendly and caring staff you could have. Unfortunately you have failed. I received no attention or consideration, they were all too busy to listen and make a difference, I mean I didn't call to schedule the appointment, I was called by (YOU) Pet Smart. You think they will try harder to make a customer happy. They chose not to. Thank you very much for not doing the job of customer satisfaction service well enough. I hope you remove my phone number from your list, because I don't appreciate being called to waste my time.

Maria was exceptionally helpful in the fish department. Advised me of free water testing and gave great advice on fish selection.
