Most of the people are really knowledgeable and helpful. I try to avoid on adoption days as all the dogs barking at the front door when you walk in scares the hell out of my dogs. Salon people seem a little pushy.. insisting I let them try and groom my dogs. Needs a little weeding through on employee's but other that it is good.

Adopted a dog from Etowah animal shelter last week , I was given a whole lot of coupons by petsmart for the adoption,well I didn’t want to use all them since I wanted my girl on 1 brand,so I wanted to donate rest of food to shelter. All the coupons said limit to 1 purchase at a time so I explained to Angela the store manager that I wanted to donate all the rest of food to shelter could I just do it in 1 transaction instead of coming in and out 10 times she was more then nice about it and did it happily ! Ty Angela all that extra food will go to such a great shelter !

Went there today, and I can't say enough great things about the people I encountered. Every single employee I spoke with was nothing short of pleasant! We are going to be taking our puppies for training and I spoke at lengths with Chandler the Trainer who basically taught my puppy how to sit in about 5 min! I will say the store isn't fully stocked, but that's to be expected. I'll gladly shop here.

We call this the “free zoo” in our household. Prices always seemed a tad high, but greater selection and much more expertise than you’d ever find at a big box store.
