I have come to this store for buying everything for my tropical fish tank, along with all of the fish that are in the tank. I have been please with the fish department and how they care for the animals. However, I am very displeased with the care of the reptiles, especially the ball pythons. As someone who has had pets for a long time, and knows a lot about animal care, the care for these snakes is below sub par. Ball pythons are solitary animals, and are not meant to be housed together. This location had 5 fairly decent size snakes in a small aquarium. Not only this, but they were only given one hiding place that only one snake can fit into. I was very upset when I saw this, because this can cause major stress and eventually death for the snakes. Just because the store has a lot of pythons, does not mean they all need to be out on display. I hope they can rectify this situation for better animal care.

They were a little busy. So cashier had to help me get cricket because the person assigned to that area was helping another person with another animal. My toddler had to point out that there was a dead pleco in one of the tanks. But they are usually pretty clean.

This is where in my guinea pig (Lilly) from and the person who helped us get the guinea pig was very nice and friendly to us. They also have cute long haired type guinea pigs. So yeah they have nice staff. And that's best pet smart I go to more often.
