Dr. Lugo, along with Petra Krupp, are without a doubt the best, most compassionate and conscientious doctors I have ever had the pleasure of seeing in my 45 years. I never felt rushed out the door, nor have I ever felt like things weren't explained clearly enough. I saw Dr Lugo & Petra Krupp for about 2 years, maybe 3 years, and I'd still be seeing them if my insurance company, Anthem BlueCross, hadn't severed their contract with Sutter. As a result, I haven't seen a doctor, any doctor, for 4 months or so. The reason I'm talking about that is because when you have a good doctor, you want to stay with them for as long as possible. My new insurance company doesn't offer Dr Lugo or many other Sutter doctors in their provider directory, but I did find a loophole. I chose a doctor in the same building as Lugo as my primary care doctor, so I won on two fronts: he's also a Sutter doctor, and I'll be able to say hi to Lugo & Petra from time to time! Yay! So to sum up: if you have a chance to see Dr Lugo, you won't be disappointed. He's the best. Period.

Dr. Lugo is an excellent doctor.  He is thorough and spends time with you instead of rushing through the appointment.  I highly recommend him.

I love Dr. Lugo. He is such a warm and kind man who really listens to his patients. I got my husband to switch over to him as well. Great doctor!!

Dr Lugo,
Communicates well with patients and encourages feed back. Good follow up after appointments are the norm with Dr Lugo.

I use him exclusively for my doc. He is wonderful and listens to your problems. He is not a pill pusher like some doctor, and he is knowledgable in alternative treatment; like instead of suggesting cortizone shots for a bursa, he recommended ultrasound treatments.
