This gym consistently tries to rip you off. Once I joined they proceeded to jack up my rate by more than 50% while slowly removing amenities. They did this even after telling me my rate would never go up. First they got rid of free towels (had to upgrade my membership to get towels), then they got rid of shampoo and conditioner until you use one liquid for everything. The bathrooms are also filthy. Finally when I tried to cancel they charged me a cancellation fee and never actually cancelled my membership so my credit card continued to get charged. I had to go back to the physical location to cancel 4 times and I still don't know if I'll ever get the refund for the 3 months they overcharged me. Save yourself from the headache and don't bother joining. Customer service is completely non-existent.

Radnor location: Not a good gym! I repeat NOT A GOOD GYM! Go somewhere else anywhere else! It was decent at first they had a great deal going on during my sign up. 1st off-you get 1 free personal training session for singing up, but that’s basically a set up so that once you have it the trainer can swoop in and talk to you about buying training sessions from them. I made it very clear I wasn’t interested and the trainer continued to insist I should do it “because he wants what is best for me & wants me to be happy” so I got texts from him often about when we could schedule a session! It was obnoxious. Okay now 2nd I was over charged and the employees were not knowledgeable at all on their policies and pricing so I was overcharged again. Employees said I would need to wait for a manager but conveniently they would always say “he stepped out to make a call” or “he left for the day he’ll be back whenever at whatever time” and when I tried to call to get ahold of a manager for a refund no one answered I called everyday almost 4 times a day for 3 weeks and NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE! I HAD TO CALL ANOTHER PSC LOCATION TO GET AHOLD OF A MANAGER! Finally when I got in touch with the manager at the Radnor location he only refunded part of what was overcharged the other bit of money (a large amount too) was not refunded and he said he was going to keep that to cover my cancelation fee AFTER he was aware that one of his employees told me I wouldn’t have a cancellation fee. He said that’s false that employee is new and what he says doesn’t count. EXCUSE ME! You need to honor what your employee says and or train them better. His tone of voice was extremely passive and and lousy customer service was felt through the phone! I’ve never left a negative review about any place but this is how strongly I feel about this gym! I’m telling you to save your coin and go somewhere else.

membership/account manager is horrible. I've had good experience with PSC for 3 years till I recently moved out Philly. I informed the gym 1 month ahead of time for the membership cancellation as required but have been charging for monthly fees ever since. I called God knows how many times trying to resolve this issue and never got through the front desk girl. (It's terrible that they don't provide account manager's direct phone line) EVERY SINGLE TIME I was told that they understood I shouldn't be charged for those fees but need have account manager call me back which NEVER happened! Now it's been 6 months and they're still posting membership charges to my credit card. Unless you plan to NEVER switch gym (their trainers are good), I would seriously suggest RUN AWAY from it.

Been to several Sports Clubs locations Philly - NJ - NJ -  NY - Boston.  This is one of the better locations based on availability of equipment, spaciousness, locker room design, and especially the trainers.  However my review is mixed.  Managers are seldom present and hard to reach.  A month after shower soap and conditioner were eliminated, I saw a sign announcing that the shampoo is now "3 in 1", which strikes me as a rediculous way to save a few cents.  Finally, if you join for the convenience of mutliple locations, be advised that North Jersey and most NYC locations are inferior to Radnor, while the 3 Boston locations I've used were top notch.

Have worked with two different trainers. Both great guys who have understood what I'm looking for and know how to get me there. Staff is very good and gym has all the equipment I need as someone who works out 2-3x per week.  Locker rooms could use some updating but otherwise happy with facility, price and value.
