I used to work for this place.  What I want everyone to know is how the girls, or as I was called, "a piece of ass behind the bar" were treated.  The owner is the meanest boss I've ever had in my life who loves to drink while he's there and makes the craziest accusations.  I walked out the day he accused me of stealing a poured pint of beer I was trying to deliver to a guest.  He refused to pour it saying I took it.  He cursed me and said I was a liar.  He would not allow the servers to provide water to our guests.  There is a container of water with plastic cups that "they can get themselves."  I got yelled at once for bringing the one table in the entire restaurant a GLASS of water.  I also would like to point out that he (the owner) has never been in the restaurant business in his life.  Maybe he should take some pointers on oh, I don't know, RUNNING A RESTAURANT.  Anyway, I was hoping to see this place had closed down but the only thing they have going for them is the beer selection and good food.  I could go on and on.

Best place in Poway to catch televised sporting events, especially soccer.. world cup, uefa, liga, epl, you name it. Killer beer list, loads of bottles, and some great British food options, meat pies, fish and chips, etc.. mmmm chips..

Excellent rotating taps (20) and amazing food. 
This is one of my go-to's, consistent quality.
Get a hot Scotch Egg and the Philius Fogg burger.

This local dive will be in your rear-view if you're not watching. A great bar with dozens of craft beers and an excellent food menu selection as well.
