The place was not bad, but not great either. While the service was good, the food was just okay. We ordered pho, but it barely came with any meat. They really didn’t give us a lot of veggies. We were disappointed.Food: 3/5
We didn’t want to finish our bowls. Maybe this place is good for Glendale but if you want anything close to authentic pho, go somewhere else. Soup was thin, meat portion was real small, and they give cilantro instead of basil who does that?? I guess cilantro is cheaper. Sigh maybe it was an off day for them. This is my all-time favorite place to get Pho. It has been for the past 4 to 5 years. The restaurant is so cozy and inviting. Just like all the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so wonderful. We got the Bahn Mi, Pho Tai Chin[#11], and the fried dumpling. Each bit was perfect. Their broth is so well-rounded, and the toppings send it above and beyond. Fantastic quality meat, and everything is served so fresh! Really good pricing and a great dining experience make this place one of the best in my eyes. Parking: You can use a meter, but there is free lot parking directly to the left of the restaurant.
The food was good, but the ambiance feels more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. I ordered beef and steamed rice, and it came with a single piece of steamed broccoli. I Appreciate the garnish, but it felt weird that $17 didn't get me a complete meal. Eat your vegetables.
Visited here for the first time on a rainy day for some delicious pho. This place did not disappoint! The portion is huge and the pho has tons of flavor! They also have chili paste available if you like it spicy you know I do. The Thai iced tea is definitely something I'd write home about as well! The service and atmosphere are great. Definitely recommend!
This review makes me very sad. Been a regular for a while now. I asked for some hoison sauce to go and they said it's not included with the fried rice and spring rolls. I've been a regular for a while and this just ruined it completely. What kind of cheap people refuse to give a regular some sauce packets? By the way, they charged me $34 for fried rice and a couple Spring rolls and refused to give some sauce packets. I live a couple blocks away and came regularly and I'm sad that they would treat me like this. Over a few cents, they lost a lifelong customer who would've easily spent thousands over many years.
I visited this eatery for the first time after a cold and wet mountain bike ride, and was looking for hot hearty food. I was really pleased I found both! The staff was busy but they greeted me when I walked in and took my order quickly. My fresh made food was ready in 15 minutes and I enjoyed it when I got home. The portions were good and I enjoyed the leftover food the next day.
Probably the worse “Vietnamese” I ever had. Growing up in the Bay Area, there was a legit Vietnamese restaurant in every town. This place had a days old rice they served, funky tasting fried egg rolls and sub par Pho. Save your money and drive an extra 20-30 mins to get authentic Vietnamese. Avoid this place!Food: 1/5
Came here with a large-ish party after a long hike and it did not disappoint! They gave us free egg rolls due to our order taking a while, very sweet of them. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere and pretty decent prices!
