T is amazing. We have been there several times and she was our server for the most part. I was impressed that she remembered the intricate details of our previous visits, attention to detail is key. She is super sweet and very efficient. Nothing like some good Pho as a comfort food and she just makes it that much more enjoyable.
Being Lunar New Year, the family decided to dine at this restaurant. Despite reading a few mixed reviews, we felt it was worth a try. We were craving for pho and this place had a variation to choose from beef, chicken and vegetarian. The beef pho was average; the broth didn’t have a strong aroma and didn’t have a clear soup base as it should. The noodles were soft but I prefer the thicker rice noodles. We also had a not so Vietnamese dish - the hurricane prawns and that was good. It was busy when we arrived around 6-7pm. Dining in and take-away were full of orders. The seating arrangement was good; very spread out lots of room. We didn’t wait long to get a table or the food. The waiter was prompt and attentive. However the restrooms need regular checking and cleaning. Pricing was reasonable. We left somewhat satisfied with the food and dining experience.
My go to Vietnamese dish is ALWAYS the papaya salad. Sadly, it did not measure up. They forgot to add fish sauce which elevates the dish to it's authentic flavor. The pancake, tasty and crispy 'til the last bite was ultra heavy with onions. The banh mi sandwich was good as were the spring rolls. I would go back, only to give them a second chance.
The staff was very helpful and courteous. We ordered several different dishes, and they were all absolutely delicious. The prices were quite fair, and I HAVE to review the bathrooms as well because they're some of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever used. Will definitely be visiting again! Features: All of the staff was wearing masks.
First time trying. Nice clean and down to earth eatery. Our server kevin was very cordial and gave us good suggestions. He is amazing. We ordered spring rolls and papaya salad. The rolls we nice and meaty and with the fish sauce always a winner. The salad was ok needed more fish sauce but we had some from the rolls so it made up for it. We had it with pork and shrimp which was good but next time shrimp would be better in my opinion. We then ordered the banh mi number 2 combo fries and a soda bread was crispy and the filling ratio of meat and veggies was good but was on the smaller size but for the price is good. Only thing was needed some umami taste so i added a few drops of fish sauce and made it good. I may sound that i add fish sauce to everything but the salad and banh mi needed to be lifted a little. We also got the 34 pho noodles with everything..!! Noodles we soft and smooth the broth was clear and the meat was plentiful as we ordered the large and shared and was plenty so thumbs up. Only thing the broth i like it boiling hot but it came up not so but was good enough to cook the thin beef slices. As you add the bean sprouts and herbs they also take some of the heat but add lime made and made it perfect. Kevin added some hoisin sauce to the pho which was nice touch and mixed it around for us. If you go ask for him cool dude. And last but not least had vietnamese coffee and dessert was sesame bobba was not too sweet which was good. It was a quick late Saturday afternoon lunch/early dinner. Also ordered take out but will update as soon as i try the pork chop and beef rib rice dishes..!! I am sure they are good as i will go back..!!!
Great food and amazing portions for an amazing price. They have a sign saying they’re understaffed and have longer wait times, but we were honestly attended so fast and got amazing customer service. Definitely recommend coming here if you want to try good and authentic Vietnamese food.
Decent vietnamese restaurant. Got the spring rolls and ba minh sandwich and pho and sliced beef. The rolls and sandwich had good flavors but they really skimped out on the protein, could use much more. The pho soup had good flavors but the beef slices seemed like cheap cuts.
My mother didn't feel well, so while I was out, ai bought a large #30 Pho for the two of us to share since the guy working there told me thatcit was big enough for three people. I also purchased grilled pork chops with white rice, sunny side egg, and salad for my daughter. I took them home to eat. Both meals were delicious! We cannot wait to go there for lunch or dinner.
Pho 79 Pinecrest starting with Crispy Vegetable Egg Rolls Cha Gio. Tom then had the Pork Chop Rice Platter Com Suong Heo and I had the Beef Vermicelli Bun Bo Nuong. Man, what a lot of flavor.
This is my favorite place to eat ever. The servers are super nice, the food is fast, really good portions. when i say this food is sooooo amazing! I get it as a reward for myself, the soup is healing to the soul and definitely refreshing! I adore this place and make the drive every time
