Kevin Chu (DPT) and all the staff at PT Innovations (Oakland site) were great! Kevin regularly evaluated my progress and developed a treatment plan based on my specific symptoms and overall health. He took into account all issues when tailoring the exercises and paid close attention to the effectiveness of the treatments, making adjustments as necessary. He was very thorough and explained everything. He and all the staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. I never had to wait past my appointment time as they were very punctual. I would definitely recommend him and his practice to those who need physical therapy.

I was referred to physical therapy for an undiagnosed arm problem in April and was able to make an appointment at Physical Therapy Innovations within a week.  This review is mostly for Kevin Chu who is quite possibly the most patient health care provider I've met.  I had a negative outlook when I started, but Kevin was always so professional and focused on motivating me through the process.  After ending physical therapy, I'm more confident in my movement and able to do way more than when I started. My physical therapist was knowledgeable, reliable, and great to work with.  I couldn’t ask for better!

Fractured my left ankle right before last Thanksgiving.  After a few months of dragging the cast boot and I still had significant pain, my doctor decided to send me to a physical therapist.  I was not sure how useful that would be but I'd try anything to get better.  Kevin Chu is an exceptional PT.  He is patient, knowledgeable, intelligent and kind.  He did not push me when I had pain but very encouraging when I have less pain.  He gave me confidence that I can get well by getting stronger!  He worked with me on all the exercises.   I was getting better each day while under his care.  Today, I am 100% well - thanks to him.  I can honestly say that I am glad my doctor had referred me to Kevin!

I went to PTI for very severe shoulder pain. Kevin Chu was my therapist. The physical therapy provided great relief.. He also showed me stretches and exercises to prevent it from recurring. I do them regularly. I am very satisfied with the treatment I received at PTI, and I highly recommend Kevin as a therapist.
