We've been here a few times over the years. Pizza is special! Crumbled sausage is delicious and sauce is great. Theirs is cheese on the bottom sauce on top upside down pizza. It's lovely for families or couples. Joan was our server and couldn't have been nicer! The bar was pretty dark, wasn't sure if they were seating there or not, which was a little strange.
This visit was my first time here. I pass it all the time, but I just never came in. I loved it! The atmosphere is old-school Italian, the service was stellar! I was with a decent sized party, and our server was phenomenal! She didn't miss a beat! The price points for the food are very reasonable, so this is definitely a good place to bring your family. I'll be coming back for sure!
A little dated decor... its like family dinner at grandma's but friendly staff great service and the food was delicious with large portions. Priced fair for what you get. The pizza was the best part though... that sauce was on point!Food: 5/5
It's been quite a few years since I've been here, however this evening my husband and I were there for a celebration of life of a long time friend after we said our goodbyes, so it was a large gathering and Pica's has a large dining area as well as plenty of seating in the bar area. The main dish was of course pizza! Pica's is famous for their pizza.. although everything else I've ever eaten there is just as delicious . The servers are pleasant, knowledgeable, and present they are busy but notice all the customers to make sure everyone is taken care of If you are ever in the area.. and even if you aren't, you have to stop and enjoy a good meal or just grab a pizza to go Parking: Pica's has a very large parking lot free parking and if there isn't any open spots, there's parking allowed on the street
You can split entrees with 2 people. Dense and rich Italian food.Food: 5/5
Pizza is definitely amazing - I'd say in my top 10 list. Everything else, not so much. If you go here, I suggest focusing on the pizza for your meal, maybe a side salad or dessert as well. Pastas are mediocre, and way over-priced for the taste. I've tried a few different items pizza, pastas, subs, grinders, mozz sticks, salads, desserts, and the only thing I come back for is the pizza.
I have to give Pica's five stars. We had a funeral lunch there for my family and it was great. Linda and Jeremy helped us arrange and plan the event. Jeremy, Connie, and Margie took great care of us. We are extremely grateful to all the staff for looking after us at this event and for all the great meals we have enjoyed there in years past.
Restaurant is aptly named after the medical condition of pica as the food tastes like a combination of paint chips, clay and chalk. The wait staff is rude, the service is terrible. The ambiance is vintage - a bit of a 60s or 70s vibe which can be cute. Sadly the food appears to have been stuck in the cupboards since then as well.Food: 1/5
First time in Philly and my step son and daughter in law took us here the day before their wedding. We love Italian Food and Picas’s was amazing! We had great conversation and the waitress was really sweat. We will be back again! I highly recommend them!Food: 5/5
We loved our waitress, Connie Laurie. She was friendly, with attitude. My husband LOVES the Tomato Pie. The seasonal appetizer, Clams Blanca was fabulous. I took the extra sauce home and served it on Pasta the next day.
