Gentleman at the counter was rude. Told us 10-15 min wait. I asked if that was because of what I ordered - would have changed my selection if it was faster because there was a long line. He said "that's the normal wait for a drink" in a tone that implied I was stupid for asking. It was Halloween weekend and they had a long line and they turned like 15 people away because it was getting crowded in the lobby. Then they got our order wrong. Asked twice about which drink had whip cream and put it. On the wrong drink.

Small, quaint.. bottom line, they simply have better coffee than almost anyone else. You will pay for it. But higher end coffee simply costs more. Get a pour over of something amazing.. it's 4 bucks well spent. Other coffee here can cost less. But if you are here..  go for it. Because you can get cheaper coffee anywhere.. if you want cheaper, try kaldis. They are fine.. You want better.. Picasso

Absolutely loved this place! Was driving down the 70 in need of some espresso, and decided to swing into St. Charles and try Picasso’s. With the incredible service, and an amazing cappuccino, we were changing our reservations before leaving. This coffee shop and downtown were the highlight of our vacation!

One of the best lattes I've ever had. 
I was planning to go to the Picasso's on the other side of I-70 (I don't know if they're affiliated at all, and I never ended up trying the other, so I can't speak for them), but my GPS brought me here instead. I can't complain! This cozy spot is in the beautiful downtown part of St. Charles. The layout is superb, counter in one room and tiered seating in another, and the coffee is to die for. My only complaint is that I had a hard time finding a restroom. I looked around for a while, didn't see one, asked the barista, almost ended up in the men's room on accident, and finally had a customer point out the door. Otherwise, an excellent experience!

I was told that Picasso's was a great vegan place but I honestly have very few options here, kinda disappointed. But the tea I had was fine, though nothing I couldn't have made at home.
