Piece of Cake is so incredible to work with. They are easily the most affordable but the best tasting cake you’ll get in Lafayette. I showed them one picture of each cake and they executed perfectly! 10/10 highly recommend!
So glad we chose piece of cake for our wedding cake! Morgan and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful when planning and deciding how much cake we needed for the amount of people at the wedding. I wanted something very simple but elegant and they went above and beyond. Our cake turned out beautifully and tasted amazing!! I am still getting compliments on the cake!!

The team at Piece of Cake Lafayette is nothing short of incredible- incredibly sweet, incredibly helpful, and incredibly talented. I reached out to them with a Pinterest picture of a cake I was hoping to have designed for a baby shower I was hosting and OH MAN did they deliver! The cake was picture perfect and tasted even better. All of the guests were amazed by the intricacy and detail that went into such a beautiful creation! In addition to our cake, we also ordered a few dozen macaroons and they were absolute perfection. A big “thank you” to Piece of Cake Lafayette for helping me pull off the shower of my friend’s dreams!
They are making the grooms cake for my son, and it is a tall order! Can't wait to see it. Update: They did a good job on the grooms cake, some hit, some miss, but my son loved it. Who ever made the duck, made that cake worth it! The taste, texture, and filling of the Red Velvet cake were awesome also. I would have liked the base the cake sat on to have been better, it throw the cake presentation off, and because the covered piece was so large, I couldn't sit it on the tree trunk. I ended up just using the tree trunk on the side to put the knife set on! The first picture is the actual cake delivered. The second picture is what I wanted, minus the hat and flowers. Total cost: 500.00 plus delivery
So this year I ordered my birthday cake in September, I wanted to make sure Mardi Gras didn’t effect anything. I just told the bakery a few things about myself…..my sorority colors that’s the red and the pearls, that I collect elephants, that my favorite color is any shade of purple and I let them go for it. It was so beautiful. It brought me to tears. It was almond flavored with strawberry filling, so good. Thank you so much Piece of Cake. You did it again they did my 38th birthday cake too. And yes I ate the bubble. See ya next year for the big 40!! P.S. I’m attaching some photos from my 38th birthday as well.
Every cake I have gotten from here tastes as beautiful as it looks!
Had never been here before but had heard great things about the taste of the cakes and the decorations. Ordered an 8 inch cake for a special event. Got the cake home and while it was pretty, it wasn’t exactly as I had hoped for. I called Morgan, the manager, and she immediately offered to remake my cake and deliver it in time for my party. Haven’t even tasted the cake yet, but I know I’ll be back based on the customer service alone. Thank you, A Piece Of Cake for going beyond and beyond can’t wait to go back.
A PHENOMENAL bakery!!! Our wedding cake was amazing and so delicious!!! They really helped make our wedding dreams come true. I was worried about finding a baker to do the flavor we wanted and they were able to create exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!!!
Oh my gosh! They made the most beautiful and the best tasting cake for my daughter’s 21st birthday! I will be using them again and again and again!
