Pieces of the Past has been a Winona tradition for my family and I for years. One of the favorite things to do while in Winona is go to Aucustic Cafe, sit in a booth eating lunch, then go across the street to Pieces of the Past to dream walking around the beautiful furniture in their show room. A few years ago, I finally bought enough barnwood furniture to fill my townhouse. Its been 6 years already! Besides being durable, the furniture makes any place look and feel warm and cozy. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for something alittle different then what you find anywhere else. They custom made furniture to fit my townhouse too, which was amazing! This is a family owned business and they really give great customer service. 
If you go to Winona, Minnesota, you have to make this one of your stops, and maybe some day you will have a house full of beautiful barnwood furniture too :)
