My family and I have been coming to this park for several years.  There's not much here but it's a nice place to come see the river.  The last few years it's gone downhill.  The trails aren't maintained anymore.  I think there used to be a friends group here and it seams like there must not be now. I still come here but expect the trails to be covered in drift wood, weeds and falling apart.

Small yet lovely park. A light walk perhaps 20 mins around the trail it self. The sandy beach area along the river is well worth the trip on a nice day. Facilities consist of a small pavillion with picknic table, and a restroom. If you love iowa's natural beauty then this park is not one to miss.
