Founded as a single gas station in 1958, Pilot Flying J today is North America's largest operator of truck stops and travel centers, which include Pilot Travel Center locations. This place has gotten better over the years. It's a lot cleaner than I remembered. It's always packed and busy here 20 hours a day since it's either the first or last stop in Oregon and thanks to the Mountains it's usually about as far as you can make it leaving Seattle/Portland in one day. Still, if you need a place to sleep and you can make it, go another 30 miles to the flying J in Caldwell Idaho. Or stop that much sooner coming from the other way. This place is fine for fuel or a quick stop but it's super busy and noisy. The lot in Caldwell is smaller but it's way more quiet, way less traffic, and the food is better.

One stop shop for travelers! It's a "truck stop" with showers, television, laundry services for truckers. There is everything one needs while traveling-- good food, coffee, beverages and much more than the traditional C store (batteries, movies, CB systems, music, electronic cords). There is a fast food restaurant, Arby's, located inside. The people are friendly every time I've visited. They always have the items in stock I need, hot and fresh coffee, and warm fresh baked pizza!

This is a great little place to stop. I used the restroom and it was like walking ito a restroom in a home. Very nice! The store has a variety of hot foods, there's a restaurant and there's plenty of parking. The people that work there were vdry nice, friendly and helpful. We have stayed there one other time before. I'd love to stay over again but it all depends on our travels, of course.

We stopped to check it out because they have some unique things and some good food too. Love these stops as there is always something different in each one. It was very busy inside and out which tells you it is popular. Check it out! 🍫🍪☕️😊

My handicapped grandmother tried to pay cash at the pump here. Instead of informing her politely that she needed to pay cash inside he asked her if she was "too lazy to walk inside?" When she told him she was handicapped and it was hard for her to get around he says "that doesn't mean anything to me." So rude! I don't know why anyone would give their business to a place that treats their customers with so little respect. The LOVES station just up the road was so happy to take her money and even offered to bring her gas if she ran out on the way there. Same prices and a much better experience. You should all go there.
