Very friendly workers, helpful with samples, fun and wacky flavors, and some delicious ice cream. Had a scoop of rum raisin and one of coconut and they were both excellent.Food: 5/5
Without a doubt, Pincho Loco has some of the most delicious, flavor-packed ice cream and treats you’ll find not only in the city, but in the entire region! My go to is their Italian ice or their ice cream cake slice. Everything is delicious, fresh, and creamy if it’s supposed to be, plus the prices are great for what you get. They have exceptional service as well. There are ice cream shops literally everywhere, but they rarely go beyond “eh, it’s good ice cream.” This place sets and tops the bar, then raises it some more! I try to make a stop any time I’m in Durham.
Superb home made ice cream. It doesn't get better than this. No franchise product here, it's obvious everything is home made with a passion for their craft. Huge variety of unique flavors, custom remakes of your favorite baked goods, like the oatmeal I've cream I had today was spot on! Many latin flavors you don't find often, of course, but also huge varieties of delicious americana. Owner operated, we love to support LOCAL. The staff, and owner are very friendly and helpful. Good thing we don't live here, or this could be habit forming
This place was so cute. The outside doesn’t do it justice! They had lots of options and it was reasonably priced and so yummy. I got a taro milkshake which I haven’t seen at any other ice cream shops and I loved it.
great local ice cream! the prices were VERY good. got the pincho loco tray which came with 5 scoops for $10. did a sample of random ones and by far my favorite was the rum raisin. the flavor of the rum was there and it was so smooth. For $10 we had enough icecream for more than 2 people
Pincho Loco is an eclectic ice cream joint that has that hole-in-the-wall feel with fantastic flavor options that are a great mix between traditional and daring. Their menu is a bit much to take in and is pieced together over multiple boards so it's kind of a fun game to figure out what you want. I ended up getting their Mangonada since I was craving mangos and spice and this hit the spot. It had a good amount of fresh chopped mangos and sorbet with a tamarind chili straw. Very photogenic too! Aside from ice cream, they also have desserts ready to-go such as rice pudding, tres leches, flan, cake, and more! It seems to be one of those places that will have random goodies to choose from based on what they feel like making so check it out!
Delicious ice cream top priority and also excellent service. The owners have a delightful sense of humor and made the experience fun in addition to the tasty ice cream.Food: 5/5
Absolutely delicious ice cream and popsicles!! The eggnog and apple pie flavors for Christmas are outstanding!! The milk free coconut popsicles are a giant hit in our family. Prices are great as well!Food: 5/5
Service was good. The lady who was working was patient and nice. We got the ice cream with he churro. The ice cream flavors we're good, but the churros felt a little lackluster. I will definitely be back thought to try one of their other flavors! Highly recommend coming and trying this place out!!
Tried Bourbon truffle, coconut and banana pudding ice creams. I liked truffle and coconut. $3 a scoop. felt too sweet.
