The Pine Cone cafe is a clean and comfortable hot spot with very good food for the locals, travelers, tourists, vacationers and cabin owners. Located on the North side of town in Marcell and the heart of the Chippewa National Forest, this northwoods cafe is tastefully decorated in a northern flare with antiques and local heritage.
We serve breakfast and lunch any time of day during our open hours. We have a breakfast menu that includes waffles, eggs, lakeside scrambler, frosted cinnamon rolls and the filling breakfast pizza or Marcell loaded hash browns. Our lunch menu has sandwiches such as Chicken Paninis, Ruebens and a Prime Rib Hoagie. We have the best fried Taco salad in the northland! Our wraps are served warm or cold. We serve different selections of delicious soup every day. Our desserts include pies, cookies, and old fashioned hard ice cream in a variety of favors.
We have the best coffee around and a wide selection of hot teas and cappuccino.
If you're not hungry and just want a drink to sip, try our brewed ice tea's, lemon aid, soda or flavored coffee's.
It's great to get up north and away from the hustle and bustle, but we understand. Work still needs to happen. Bring your laptop......we have Free WiFi.
Our covered deck has patio tables and benches and we can reserve a room for your groups up to 20 people.
