Great Views, and clean bathrooms. Easy access to skate, mtn bike, lake, and town.

My family and I spent one of the best fourth of July holidays camping. We just about got the last campsite in the tent section. Restrooms were very clean, and the folks who camp here are partly at fault for keeping things so tidy. We had the perfect view of the Frisco fireworks show. Our camp host was great, made us feel welcome and right at home, and kept everyone informed during the fire at Peak 2. Even the group of young fellas next to us, who were drinking well into the night of the 4th, were quiet and respectful. So many families, and dogs, but I never felt crowded. My son met and spoke with the Lake Dillon Search and Rescue who came out. We had a wonderful time riding our bikes down all the trails and bike path, playing frisbee, wiffle ball, paddle-boarding, canoeing, or just sitting in the shade with our dog. She loved sun-bathing the most. I enjoyed the early morning stroll along the shoreline trail the most, and s'mores with my son. My son loved the Frisco Adventure Park nearby. Great memories. At 1st look I thought "who wants to camp in a parking lot!?"  I do, I do!  This place is BEAUTIFUL, relaxed, right on the lake... NICE!
