These places should absolutely be a part of any Yellow Stone or out west experience. The cabins are authentic and very comfortable and have everything you need. Not to mention the general store that covers all else. The staff was friendly and energetic which made the experience wonderful, and the location is perfect. Highly recommend and will be back.

My wife and I stayed in August for a few days to explore the park. The people at the general store were a wealth of info. They know where to send you to see what is of interest to you. We got to see the wolves in Lamar Valley (they told us to check there because they had been spotted recently). Our cabin was clean and the bed was perfect. I can't understand the fascination with internet. We never even tried to get on as we were there to SEE the sights in person and when we got back to the cabin, we only had enough energy to cook dinner and then sleep. This is not a hotel, and I don't think it's supposed to be. You'll be glad you stayed here when you look outside and see a buffalo walking 20 feet outside your door!

Better than expected. Happy travelers :) What an amazing location and place. Close to the park which made our stay even more enjoyable since we did not have to fight the crowds for rooms in the park. Clean rooms, Friendly staff and excellent rates. My family will be back!!

Spent 3 nights at pine edge 1. Location is awesome and staff is exceptional. We couldn't have asked for more. Close to the park and several times found wildlife in the "front yard" ( bison, deer, fox). Cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed. We found them by chance but will be back. Views are out of this world. I can't say enough good about staying here. The few restaurants close by are high priced for only average food with above average experience, so plan ahead and bring some food. If you have a chance check out lulu pass, east of Cooke city

When I originally booked this place, it was overbooked for the original cabin I was going to stay in. I was offered stay in the lodge, which wasn't described to me all that well over the phone, but it still was a bargain, since they mentioned it had a lot of rooms or space or something. We arrived incredibly late, and were lucky that the night shift manager working at the general store was still open and was ready to close. He showed us the Lodge, which is this beautiful 100 year old historical log cabin building, which was previously used as a bus depot in the early 1900s to bus tourists into Yellowstone when cars weren't allowed in the park. Rumor has it that Hemingway used to frequent the bar here as well. It's dorm-style lodging, meaning bathrooms and showered are shared, but the sexes are divided and marked. The place creaked every time you stepped, the walls were kind of thin, but my bed was comfortable and that's all I really wanted. It's still in the process of being renovated, so they don't always allow too many guests to stay there, but it was such a neat place. My favorite place to stay on my trip, even though there was no cell service and internet.
