The Pine Tree Cafe is a great quality restaurant at the New York Botanical Garden that offers guests wonderful meals at reasonable prices. When visiting the New York Botanical Garden in January of 2022, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Pine Tree Cafe. I purchased a pizza pie for both my wife and myself and we both found it to be well seasoned, tasty and delicious!!! In light of the COVID 19, the Pine Tree Cafe also made sure that its table and seats were appropriately distanced from each other and its hand sanitizers were readily accessible. All in all, both my wife and I very much enjoyed our time and experience at the Pine Tree Cafe!!!
Came here after the Orchid Show and they have a ton of assortments of baked goods, sandwiches, pizzas, pre-made sandwiches, and also a build-your-own salad. I got the Cuban Sandwich and the MeatLover pizza and they tasted pretty good.Food: 5/5
I didn't have high expectations for a food vendor in a botanical garden and I wasn't disappointed. After waiting in line for a while I ordered a hot cheese panini and technically got the wrong sandwich. I sat at an uncomfortable table to eat. It was fine, but not good. Vegetarian options: They have a salad bar and a variety of options
Vegan eats review: Surprised to find good options and to add delicious and well thought out. Farro salad is packed with deliciousness. Flavors marry well with each other, shallots, olives, capers, golden raisins. Roasted broccoli tofu sandwich was not bland and had a satisfying taste with the tasty ciabatta loaf. There was a tumeric hummus as well but I didn’t have an opportunity to try it.
I had eaten their food before and it is good. But this time I had the $5 hot chocolate, It was horrible, I know it is water base. I tried to fixed it with cream that it is available for the coffee but It didn't work. I love the botanical garden. Not trying to upset anybody just giving my opinion.
This is a nice looking place very modern, it could get a little crowded but for a stop in your heading out or in the Botanic Garden, is perfect.Food: 3/5
It's pretty busy on the weekends, but they have really good pizza! Kid-friendliness: Definitely fun for kids! Wheelchair accessibility: All level ground.
Yesterday, I order a cheese pizza. After I ordered, I noticed a cheese pizza sitting on the counter to his left far corner of his counter. The other guy is there making pizzas, all freshly made. The one who took my order took the pizza sitting on the counter and heats it up and serves it to me. Of all the non Asian people who were there before me and who were waiting for their pizza; as the only Asian person there that I could see; I was given that old pizza. I can assure you that pizza never left that area. Truly truly sad that he is being paid to be a racist.
It's a cafeteria. The food is fine, I typically go for the sandwiches. A little pricey, as you'd expect for a cafeteria serving a captive audience. There's some enclosed seating, a bit warmer than outside, but not take your jacket off warm. It's fine.Food: 4/5
I must admit I was pretty impressed at the selections. There were quite many choices to choose from including build your own salad. Plus getting to eat in the beautiful botanical gardens it's a win win
