This was our first visit today. Surprisingly, we've never heard of this park, even though we've lived here our whole lives. We came for the Open House, Explore the Park & Picnic Day and had a great time. Our family had a little picnic out there, which was great because it was such a beautiful & windy day out! The description said there would be crafts and exhibits, so that's what we were kind of expecting... but to our surprise, the General Store was the only building that was open. We still walked around and looked at the other buildings, but there was only so much to see from the outside. This land is beautiful and we can't believe we didn't know about it until now. It's got REALLY great potential to be huge in this area if they advertise better and go all out for a Folk Festival type event. I'm sure we'll be coming back for another of their events throughout the year.

One of the best kids' summer camps available. Pioneer nights (parents night out) are a huge hit too.
