My Mom passed away in January 2013 and she did not have arrangements made in advance. My sister and I called three local funeral homes and got three very different experiences. One told us on the phone that the minimum price would be $5000 so we ruled them out, they weren't even nice to us on the phone. We made appointments with Pinette & Lynch and one other. The other one tried to get us to buy a "package" that was all inclusive it was something like $7500, that is even before talking about a casket or anything else. We were turned off again by what seem to be an attempt to grab some money during a time of grief.  Then we drove over to meet with Kevin at Pinette and Lynch, he was very good, there was no fooling around with the prices, he understood what we needed, he offered a good and very fiar price right from the beginning, Every charge was disclosed in advance, there were no surprises when we got the bill. And the service was excellent, the facility is very very nice, all the staff were very helpful, they endured our family setting us all kinds of extra things in the room. They made sure everything was just as we wanted it. They were great.
