Drinks could’ve been stronger. We got the calamari which was to die for. Then I got the Spider roll which was cucumber wrapped it was so different & tasty I loved it then ofcourse a shrimp tempura roll. For dessert we got a fried ice cream which was really good. The only downfall is they add a 20% gratuity automatically.
This was recommended as the best sushi place around Fairfield and I have to agree. I went with my husband for a quiet lunch today and the interior size is surprising from what you see outside. The staff were appropriately attentive to us and refilled our drinks and made sure things came out in a timely manner. The presentation of the food was wonderful as well as the taste and the value for the items. They gave us their own Wasabi, which was an added delight. I really enjoyed positive staff attitudes and everyone was pleasant and thoughtful. Would highly recommend this experience and will be back.
What a wonderful find in Westport, Connecticut. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the ambience was spectacular. I loved the lighting. The restaurant had a romanticized vibe. The food was exquisitely prepared. Great place for a date night.

My boyfriend and I came into this restaurant a bit unsure of what to expect but were happily surprised! Our server had such a wonderful smile even through the mask the entire time. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, the presentation original and the price was incredibly fair! Will definitely be returning.
Very good Japanese restaurant for fresh sushi. The ambience is and setting is very warm and inviting. The food is spectacular, fresh and tasty. The service is professional and friendly. The staff does an amazing job with service and food prep. Worth a visit!
Fresh, quality ingredients, quick service. Could use a bit more rice on the salmon avocado roll, but made up for it with the crispy tofu cubes! What a fun appetizer, haven’t had this before but it was a wonderful mixture of flavors and textures.
Pink Sumo is absolutely delicious and best lunch menu value in town. reco: Bento boxes and Lunch Sushi They accommodate my shiso leaf requests with a knowing smile. So so good.
Been to a lot of sushi places over the years, this place is by far the best though. Great presentation, food is great, and the ambiance is really nice too. Service is kind and helpful.
Pink Sumo is good. The food from both the kitchen as well as the sushi bar are very good and I’ve always enjoyed coming here. They also have good drinks too. Since I’m not from the area, I’m not a regular but I make it over a few times throughout the year and the last time that I came here for dinner, I noticed that their menu prices have increased quite a bit. I wasn’t sure if it’s due to demand and lack of availability so I compared some common menu items to a nearby place and the outcome was a bit offsetting. For example, I rarely see eel on a sushi menu for more than $3.50 per piece and they’re charging $10. In conclusion, this place is a treat with a tricky menu.
