I would give zero stars but that is not an option unfortunately. I submitted the following review to Pioneer Credit's website (knowing they will not publish it on there but wanting to make them aware)
"I know you asked for a positive review but I have to say since Mariner Finance took over Pioneer credit Union I have had nothing but horrible customer service! The person who answered my call just now (5/18/17 @ 12:39 pm) could not find our account due to the incompetence of whoever entered my husband's ss# in your system entering it in wrong. Then she it seemed as if she could not be bothered to find a way to locate our account so that I could make the payment. Once I finally told her I just made a payment last month using his correct ss# & it is being reported on our credit report, she finally looked it up (somehow) and found it and begrudgingly took my payment. After she recorded the authorization, she asked if I wanted the confirmation # and gave it to me, then just hung up. No thank you for calling, no thank you for your business, no thank you for making your payment, no have a nice day, no nothing! Just click! & that is just 1 of my many stories of inferior Customer Service with Pioneer Credit/Mariner Finance! BTW, all my calls are recorded & stored via cloud storage as was this one & I since I know you will only post good reviews on your website, I will find other means to let people know about how customers are truly treated now that Mariner Finance has taken over Pioneer Credit. I used to rave about the customer service received at Pioneer when Ms. Tina and the others were there but now, I cannot wait to have you paid off so I no longer have to concern myself with the likes of you. "
Loan seeker beware! If you think you will get continued good service after the ink dries on that loan paperwork, think again!!
