This place--where do I even begin? I do pretty well at this school, but I certainly do not like it. Let me begin with the staff. Most are arrogant people who do not listen to the kids. They think that they are always correct, and will often team up on you with other staff members when you are accused of doing something wrong. That being said, everyone has their pros and cons and that kind of conduct is often necessary to have order. The teachers are okay. Some are very strict, and others are very "chill" and do not really care about what you do as long as you follow rules. My problem is that some teachers simply do not teach! My day in some classes is simply going on a computer and taking notes about something or doing some assignment online. When the test comes around, we are expected to know everything. In some of my classes, I never have lectures about a lesson. At least, that is my experience. But, this school is good in that I feel it is preparing me for a future in high school, and I am thankful for that. As an accelerated student, I feel that the homework load is very fair and is not too high or too low. Tests are pretty easy, as long as you study. This school is pretty good, and it has its own pros and cons.
