Went for spring fling. Place is large so expect to do some walking. Nicely put together though buildings could use some work. History part very fascinating. Plan at least an hour or more.
Fantastic experience. Highly recommended. Take a camera, you ain't want to miss out on these memories. Friendly folks. Mixed races visit here. No racism.

A neat little place to go and experience native Florida. There's plenty to see on the self guided tours, and even more if you go on an event day. It's great for kids and history buffs alike!

Interesting stop while traveling from Ormond Beach to Ocala in our motorhome. This walk-through historical village is a museum to a multitude of artifacts from around the early 1900's. They are also a Harvest Host and accomodate overnight boondocking for members who want to take in some local history. We enjoyed walking the grounds and exploring the exhibits and buildings. There are some fenced animals here, like goat and chickens. The self guided tour is $10.
Interesting place. A work in progress. It's a self guided tour. Lots of Antiques. Would love to see it on the days they have demonstration. Being from the PA anthracite coal region, I liked the coal bags the blacksmiths use!
Such an awesome place! I highly recommend for history buffs!
So much great potential here! We went on a Friday and there were no craftsmen there, no one to tell you about the exhibits or tools or anything, and no written information either. The place has a ton of interesting stuff but no explanation of any of it. I can imagine how lively it must be when they have something going on there, but for us it was a little desolate. We'll try to go back when there's some event there. Suggestion for management: add pictures and explanations of what is displayed. Even labeling the farm implements would have been helpful.
Took my kindergarten class there today. I was very impressed. Very organized and friendly staff. Some of the information presented was a little above 5 year olds, but the crafts were awesome and my kiddos were engaged. They loved it, too! Thank you!
