It is 1 of 2 left in Los Angeles County and it is the Best Old Fried Chicken Places around! This location is a dine-in and it is "Oh-So-Good!" Golden brown, juicy, tender, succulent, pieces of fried chicken... with sides, they also have Fish, Shrimp, Gizzards, etc... So stop on by and give ' em a try, u r gone a luv 'em... just like I do.

I was surprised to see one of these still around. I stopped and got a meal and honestly it was just plain greasy. Maybe good for some but not my cup of tea. Funny thing is I remember having some as a kid and thought it would bring back that nostalgia instead it was heartburn :) Oh well. Thanks for the memories

Best. Chicken. Ever. Tastes exactly as I remember from the 70s as a child. In fact, in its heyday KFC had no reason to exist as Pioneer's chicken was, and still is, superior in every way. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You'll be glad you did.

Food is outstanding, just like when I was a kid. But the service sucks so bad. I was the 2nd person in the drive thru and I waited 40 minutes and when they handed me my food they practically threw the food at me and shut the window. I had to honk to the horn for a couple of minutes so I could get butter and honey for my biscuits
