Watched the Ayer fireworks here and it was well done. Outside of that, the park is clean and the equipment is well kept.

The park has tons of shade, it is fenced in, great climbing structures, benches and picnic tables, there is a lot of parking spaces, and it us easy to find.

This multipurpose facility is home to the Annual 4th of July Celebration and festival that the Town of Ayer sponsors, this is also where the fireworks are shot off. This facility is very versatile and has many features, they have a large wooden playground structure, basketball courts, large open fields, and there's at least, 4 baseball/softball fields and two parking lots; on the right-hand side of the playground there's two (2) t-ball/rookie fields, and on the left-hand side of the playground, tucked below grade in the corner of the facility, you'll find a beautiful hidden treasure: a very well maintained, completely fenced in Little League Field with covered dugouts, and that's not all, there's also batting/pitcher warmup cages in between the Little League Field and the Softball Field. Also in between these two fields is the Snack Shack which has a men's and a women's bathroom on the backside of the building. I believe the Snack Shack is run by the Ayer Baseball/Softball League, I've personally only seen it open during a baseball and/or softball game. I've been going to this facility for years but only recently became aware of the fact that there'sa second men's and women's bathroom located within the white facility building behind the backstop of the Babe Ruth/High School baseball field (this is the first field you see as you come down the street towards the facility). I also recently became aware that they rent out portions of the fields (various locations I presume) for all types of functions, such as, corporate functions employee appreciation parties, birthday parties, etc. My assumption is you'd contact the Ayer Recreation Dept. for more information. I would also assume you'd be responsible for supplying your own tables, chairs, food, party tent(s), etc. All and all though, this is a very well cared for and a nicely maintained versatile facility.
