I have eaten here twice and the expectations were met both times. The food is very authentic and well made. Presentation and taste were great. The Sinigang tasted like a home cooked Lola’s meal. The chef is top tier and a hard worker as he greeted us, sat us down and gave us menus.
Came here with my family as a party of 6 and we ordered for a party of 20 because they just love to have varieties. Upon entering, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The staff was so accommodating and patient with us. Initially they sat us in the booth but after ordering, they suggested we move to the middle table, fittingly so. For the food, some of the best Filipino food I’ve tasted in America, and I’m Filipino. The big bowl of soup Bulalo was very flavorful. A little salty but the meat and the veggies made up for that. There was also so much meat. The crispy kare kare, also very flavorful. It’s different than other places because they put lechon kawali fried pork belly which gave that great crunchy texture. Now, their crispy pata was one of our table’s favorite. A lot of other places give a lot of fat, but they have us so much meaty parts. The meat was also so juicy and tender, easy enough to chew. Our tables most favorite dish, was the beef sinanglaw. It was suuuuper flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice and sourness. We finished the bowl before anything else could touch the table! All in all, our experience was great and we enjoyed every dish, but we enjoyed those aforementioned dishes the most!
The food here is really good. Each entree can feed up to 2-3 people. Got appetizers like fried Lilian, pork shumai and Tokwat baboy. For entrees we got Sinampalukang Manok, Ginataang Puso Ng SagingI suggest not to get spicy and Bulacan Expressspicy. Even though they are really good, we got too much pork food so I would definitely try a grilled squid as another dish instead. The pics aren’t the best but I guarantee that you’ll enjoy the meal. Got Turon and leche flan as a desert and equally as good as the entrees.
Delicious!!! Staying a week in the area and are trying out restaurants we would not find in Milwaukee. We will be back before heading out. The sauce in the sweet and spicy shrimp is heavenly, I could straight up drink that sauce! Just be a bit patient, it was full when we got there, but so worth the wait, and very friendly staff!
We are a family who loves to travel and try authentic Filipino cuisines wherever we go. Pistang Pilipino is a MUST go and try, if you want to experience the real taste of a Filipino dish, from the tongue of Northern To Southern Filipinos. You can taste and smell the delicious Kare- Kare from its smallest ingredients they used up to the totality of this sumptuous “ulam” viand. You will never go wrong to order Lechon Kawali, Sotanghon Guisado and their scrambled eggs with tomato, onion and herbs are like a taste of our childhood prepared by our mothers. The best experience is not only the good taste of their food, but, the warmth and politeness of the whole crew. From the owner up to the server. The cleanliness is the most important thing for us. You can see how clear and clean the plates are and most of all the bathroom is very clean, that you wouldn’t know there is bathroom next to where you are eating unlike some famous Restaurants where the smell of their bathrooms are totally a disappointment to eat. The best experience is the karaoke night where all our children enjoy the real Feast of Filipinos because of the good food and courteous Filipinos around Pistang Pilipino. Went to FL to find out that Nipa hut was closed that day so we searched for another filipino restaurant and we found this. The place was pretty small and there was not enough wait staff. The table next to us were so nice to actually helped them with fulfilling orders. It was a good day and food were yummy
Worst experience ever. It took 15 minutes to get a table. The lady barely cleaned it. We had to clean up the table after she left so we could sit down. Then another 30 minutes to have the order taken. And 45 more minutes to get the food. We got there at 7:20 and started eating at 8:50. The food was okay. My palabok was very salty. The pork barbecue is good. Bad service and very hot inside. I had to wait in the car after I ate to cool down. I will have to decline ever coming back. In conclusion this restaurant is slow, dirty and hot. We threw away the food because it smells bad. I can not recommend this place to anyone.
Food is flavorful and authentically filipino. The servings are big so expect to take home leftovers . The servers are friendly and service is fast. We ordered our favourite 1 sinigang na bangus milkfish in tamarind soup sour soup very hearty full of different vegetable like kangkong, okra, among others . 2 pinabukadkad na red snapper with enselada - crispy and crunchy fried whole snapper with green mango salad ,3 chicken pancit canton and for dessert we ordered the halo halo - The shaved ice they used in the halo halo is like the shaved ice used in korean dessert called Bingsu. It was almost like ice cream in texture and consistency. This will be our go to Filipino restaurant in the area.
Got takeout for dinner and there was more than enough for 4 to try. The flavorful Pork Sisig was the favorite, and the Pancit Canton egg noodles were similar to Chinese lomein.
Portions are big. The Halohalo is the best. The crispy pata is kinda bland and dry that’s why only 4 stars. Servers are courteous. Overall, we had a good experience. Will come back again. Update: this has been long overdue. Crispy pata is now the best! So crunchy on the outside and so juicy and soft on the inside. Tastes just right! Thank you!
