Excellent! I don't know why we've never eaten here before but we'll definitely be back. Friendly service and delicious food. We had brisket, sausage, baked potato, baked beans, fried okra, onion rings, banana pudding, and peach cobbler.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
This was not that bad. I had the pit mater special which included ribs, sausage and brisket with 2 sides. The meat was not as tender as I would like and if not for the sauce would be a bit bland, however that potato salad was fire. I usually do not get potato salad but gave it a try and was not disappointed. Overall this is not a bad spot to eat if you want a quick BBQ fix.
I liked the welcoming feel and friendly service at this restaurant. The pit master special was an amazing combination that gave us the chance to try out three meats on our visit. Paired with three sides, it was a satisfying amount of food for two of us to share. The brisket, ribs and sausage were all absolutely delicious.
Been here a few times and it's a really great place. Better priced than some of the competition with the same quality. Comforting environment and laid back. Great food too.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: Yes
Was looking for a good bbq place following a long and frustrating drive to/from League City on that miserable highway, I-45. Tried to get to a couple of restaurants in Houston; however the crowds and lack of parking dissuaded. Googled and found Pitmaster BBQ off Sawdust Rd, just west of I-45. The place is smack-dab in the middle of a large strip mall, just east of Budde Rd. Walked in around 7:15 PM, the restaurant closes at 8:00 PM; hardly anyone around at the time. We’re greeted warmly by Cassidy at the front door - sat in the covered patio area, very pleasant on a typical Oct evening. Cassidy was extremely friendly and attentive - ordered the sausage/brisket/ribs combo platter for $22, together with Fried Okra and Baked Beans as sides. In addition, ordered Jalapeño poppers and Onion Rings as appetizers. Food arrived very quickly, and was it delicious! The meats were well-smoked and fall-off-bone tender, the spicy sausage was perfectly cooked. Sides were not at all greasy - very tasty. Texas toast accompanied the platter. Rounded off the fine meal with Blueberry Cobbler and Pecan Pie to go. Nice touch that the owner came and checked on us, in addition to Cassidy’s excellent attention. The meal was plentiful and cost $69 for two, including 20% tip. Overall, very satisfying - recommend this hidden gem if you like a quiet, well-attended to experience.
When I think of authentic TX BBQ, Pit-Master is my favorite. The owners are so nice and you can tell take great pride in their craft. Starting with their kitchen, which is immaculate! He has helped me with multiple amazing office lunches. So if your looking to impress a client with some outstanding BBQ. This is the place be.
Delicious! Ordered the 10-12 people Family Pack. Sides could be quart sized instead of pint sized but if you double up on the favorite sides, you're good. Brisket is tender. Staff was super friendly. Our office loved it all. Thank you!
Good ole Texas Bar-B-Que! From the moment we walked in we were greeted very friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really warm and cozy. Our server was really nice and was even patient with us when we said it was our first time visiting. For appetizers we had the stuffed Jalapeños And they were good but a bit warm. We placed our order and when the food came out it was so good!! It was so good I forgot the names of the food but definitely worth it. My sandwich had a little bit of everything and the sausage was on point! Get the spicy! My mom had the potato with chopped brisket and she loved it. She also got a side of corn on the cob. The food is definitely filling and worth it. I will say the chopped brisket was different but in a good way. This one was sweet but nothing too extreme and was very tasty. The sweet tea was also on point! We were too full for desert but I heard they were great. Y'all definitely check them out!
Would give it zero stars if possible. Disgusting brisket with a jello consistency and no smoke flavor. Sausage tasted like it was microwaved. Ribs were fatty with little to no meat. Fries were overcooked and dry. Potatoes in the potato salad were undercooked and crunch. Do not eat here it's a waste of money and you'll end up having to eat something else afterwards
Two stars is me being nice. I called an order in today. First off the service was good. That’s the only reason why I’m giving any stars at all. The pulled pork sandwich with the sauce tasted like an Arby’s sandwich. Baked beans had no favor and the potatoe salad was disappointing to say the least. I barely made it home and it was coming out of both ends. I would highly not recommend this bland soulless bbq to anyone.
