This weekend was our third visit to The Pixie Inn and will most certainly not be our last. My family and I love this charming little inn. Great location, about a mile from the entrance to Grandfather Mountain. Near the Blue Ridge Parkway and several cute little antique shops. Yes, it is an older place, which we see as a plus. The walls are actual walls and not cardboard covered with paint. It is quiet, peaceful and cozy. The rooms are clean and always smell fresh. The prices are very affordable. The staff are very friendly and treat you like family. They know how to make guests feel welcome and appreciated. Not like the big chains that seem impersonal. We cannot say enough good things about the Pixie! Highly recommended!!! The only negative is that they are only open from April through October.

We loved this place. This was mine and my husbands first time staying here, we stayed for a 3 day weekend for our anniversary. We absolutely loved it. The owners were so adorably sweet. They were so welcoming. We will most definitely be going there again!! And the price can't be beat!!

This place is great.  A hidden gem . Very seventies ,kitschy low cost place.  Adirondack chairs on the lawn . Restaurant next door . Has station across the street . Very much a community staple with hardware store beauty shop sandwiches you name it you can walk from there . Don't miss this one . Kay and the ladies are the best .

This was one of the best motels we have been to! After traveling from Florida and having some bad motels on the way up, we were so pleased with this place that we made sure we stayed a 2nd night! They welcome you and are very pleasant people! The rooms are very clean and well maintained. They will be seeing us again for sure! Thank you Pixie Inn!

Nice place,not the Ritz but for $50 A night. I got a double bed room. I feel safe. I'm sitting outside enjoying the night air. Owned by the same family since the late 50s. It's clean. I'm off the road on a cold rainy night.
