Was always a treat to order from the PS, however over the past four times ordering there have been issues. Quantity and quality of ingredients seems to have significantly declined. The inability to get an order correct the first time. Cutting back on amount of toppings on the pizza, ordered double topping it looked like a domino's pizza. Rarely over the years have we had any complaints however it seems over the past few months something has changed for the worse.
It was a bizarre visit. The wait staff did not acknowledge us as we sat and waited for a long time. People came in after us and sat and were greeted and were able to place drink orders. I had to go up to the bar and order drinks. Finally, a waiter came over, and we placed our order: salad, wings, and house combo. We finally got our drinks, and halfway through, a different guy brought us a pizza. We said to him we didn’t get our salad and wings. His response is they are swamped in there. We took one bite of pizza, and it was cold! He finally brought our salad and wings and said oh, sorry, that wasn’t your pizza. It was disappointing that the pizza was cold. I do not get to eat pizza often and was looking forward to it being delicious.
House sitting in the area for a month. Great find!!! Friendly. Good food. Yup. Gonna be a regular! Oh, and they clean their beer glasses the right way!!! Always leaves a foam line when I drink! A true sign of a well rinsed glass!!!!
Sweet pizza dough is not a good thing. The wings are crispy. Five star, if you like the limited sauces. Back to the pizza, the top was barely melted and the dough was raw. Pizza hit the table cold. Weird
Pretty rude, honestly. Couldn’t take payment over the phone because she had “a line of people” and hung up on me. Woman on the phone sounded miserable and burnt out. It would behoove the business to get some friendlier people on the front line. I’m sorry you’re stressed out but don’t take it out on us.
Got a bite for Thanksgiving Eve with my wife. Food was great as always we played keno and had drinks. Service was excellent Food: 5/5
Went there last night for the first time, I recommend this local pizza place for anyone nearby or even as a little trip for something new for dinner. It's cute and very welcoming with sweet people. The pizza was great, the salads were AMAZING. Great portion for the price. Has a bar lounge as well, good selection of music haha. The service was good, only issue is i overheard a lot of staff conversation that was vulgar and very not what my grandmother wanted to hear. I guess we sat in an area that we shouldn't have. Still good service from Allie, who was attentive and very nice. Don't knock it till you try it.
First off, I believe I am a courteous customer that tries to be patient and appreciates restaurant industry employees. Went in for lunch because I started going recently and like the food. The section I normally sit in was crowded so I went towards the entrance area that I thought was the entrance to the bar section and the bartender seemed annoyed even though I stopped and realized right away that it was the wrong entrance. I asked if I could eat in there and the bartender told me to go around the other way but was obviously upset that as a newer customer I didn’t know the way in. So I walk around and I hear the bartender telling a customer that she/he was going to “snap” if another customer walked through the other entrance, while the customer looks at me holding back laughter. So I felt it was such an overblown reaction to a simple mistake and realized this was not a place for me to visit anymore.
Sometimes you need a bathroom that can handle a multitude of mass. At a place like this it's easy to find yourself bellied up to the bar for hours and hours, and butted down for even more. The Pizza Shoppe's utility and attention to detail stands out and allows a comfortable and cleanly environment to spend your time here, wherever you want to do it.
I would think twice about ordering takeout here! I ordered a pizza, salad, grinder and fries. When I arrived I was given my pizza and a bag...I questioned if all my food was in the bag and the girl said yes its all there. I got home to find that the grinder and fries were in fact not in the bag. I called them and told them I'm headed back to pick up rest of my order...no apology, just excuses. When I got back more excuses and she actually argued that I did get the fries, which I did not!. I wanted my fries comped and she said she couldn't so I asked for a manager. He told me he would comp my fries and grinder but its now 12 days later and still no credit on my account. So this place does not own up to its mistakes, makes excuses and does not follow through on their word. Very disappointing!!!
