Pizzana x Honey Butter Fried Chicken Pop Up
"A Neapolitan pizzeria from Candace and Charles Nelson of Sprinkles Cupcakes and partners Chris and Caroline O'Donnell, Pizzana features handcrafted pies from Naples-born pizzaiolo Daniele Uditi. Uditi — who learned his craft growing up in Italy, and honed it at the famed L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele — offers a fresh take on the Naples staple reimagined for Southern California; his "slow dough" is fermented for 48-hours and results in a crust that is light yet sturdy and his toppings are consciously sourced to blend the traditional with the unexpected. The dessert menu, crafted by Candace, features Sprinkles ice cream and classic Italian sweets, updated."

Great place for some delicious, high quality pizza. Lots of interesting options but you need to be in a pizza mood, obviously, since there are no other entrees. The two we got were delicious. Service is good. Spartan but still trendy interior. Highly recommended! We got the last table on a Sunday at lunch time. I could see the need for reservations at peak times. Street parking only.
Superb pizza. The Margherita is delicious. Their crust light and airy. Their appetizers are also great the artichoke is so creamy and scrumptious. The fried cauliflower is crispy and soft with great flavors. The lemon ricotta cheesecake is one of the best desserts I've ever had. It's not too rich and great lemon flavor. You have to definitely eat here. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options so that super tasty.
Heard about this place from the chef show with Jon Favreau and chef Roy Choi. Ordered the meatballs, Ceasar salad, Panna Cotta, neo Margherita and diavola. Loved the sauce in the meatballs along with the bread. Neo Margherita was like no other pizza I've tried before. Only slight let down was the diavola being way to spicy , which is quite strange because I generally like chilli. A bit on the pricey end but we enjoyed it overall.
Had a late lunch here today. This place is great Neopolitan style pizza. We ordered 5 pizzas so that we could sample the menu and have plenty of leftovers. The diavola was my favorite, the honey was sweet and subtle. We also liked the vodka pizza. One thing that was missing was a smokey flavored crust generated by a wood burning oven. The service was good and friendly. It's worth it, but not the best in town. Features: Very safe, no mask required. It was great.
Found this place on a list of best pizzas in the world - if I remember correctly, the only one in LA in that list. The pizzas were very good! Some of the best I've ever had. Wife thought the same. Funnily, we had had pizzas at Ribalta in New York just a couple of weeks ago. Pizzana's are at the same level IMO. The base of the pizza is super thin but still somehow sturdy enough. The crust is soft and chewy. The ingredients were very flavorful. We got the Carnivoro, and the Cacio e Pepe - thought that was a good combination. Highly recommend. Make a reservation - we went on a Monday night and even then it was pretty crowded.
For pizza I would give this 5 star review. Very nice Italian pizza. For the overall experience for the price — 2 stars is generous. Dessert was overpriced and so not worth it. Frozen berries. Flavorless panna cotta . They are not clean, not cleaning tables between customers or replacing paper menus on tables. Especially during these times it’s unacceptable. I would not recommend to anyone for dine in. Maybe get a pizza to go but not worth the price.
HAPPY VEGAN. Pizzana not only makes delicious pizza, they make delicious options for vegans. Nothing makes me as happy as not being an afterthought. Most times I have to ask for no cheese on my pizza and make due. Pizzana has 2 already vegan options. Their salads are incredible as are their desserts I cheated , I’m a sugar addict, ok?!. Strong recommend.
Saw Pizzana on the Robb Report top 100 pizza places in the world while we were in Paris, so back in the USA, we had to go … was yummy as expected. Pepperoni pizza delish!!!! Good crust - cheese - meat and sauce!!! Squash Blossom, delish too. To me a bit odd having the cheese dollops cold, but that’s just me. Sauce had a unique, tangy taste - not sure what it was, but delish! Both pizza’s great. Loved the chopped salad - perfect starter!!! Meatball app/side a must, soooo good! I could have sipped the sauce like soup!!! Side bread so good! The chocolate cake - a rare simple “cake” - olive oil, chocolate icing, just like Mama’s! And finally - the people! Everyone could not have been nicer. Our server, Sophia - super nice and positive - full of good energy, a great server! A+ !!!! Nicely done! YUM!!!!
5 stars for excellent service from Ty. Very attentive and kind. The pizza was OK, floppier than I usually like, and the basil was pretty in the big leaf, but harder to eat. Flavor was like 8/10. Texture was a 6/10.
One of the best pizza places in LA, and some of the best Napoli style pizza I've had outside Naples. Perfect flavor, the dough that dreams are made of, and sauces and ingredients fit for any mafioso or enthusiast. The Funghi/mushroom pizza is perfection, their seasonal offerings should definitely be indulged in, it's all you want in pizza and more. A smaller location, so make reservations and come hungry and ready to order. Useful tip, use the Google Translate App or ask the server if the Italian words on the menu get you stumped you're in good company. Glad they're getting more locations soon, it's a favorite of mine and will stay near the top of my list for the foreseeable future. UPDATE: Still the best pizza. Get the Cacio E Pepe pizza
