Pizza at 2:20 AM is a total saving grace for those of us out bar hopping and liquored up. I didn’t expect much from the pizza with a cauliflower crust but to my surprise I couldn’t tell the difference between regular pizza crust. Oh the pizza overall was delicious and I plan on making it my go to pizza choice from now on. Nicely done I highly recommend it. Cost was under $20 for a medium sized pizza that was plenty for the two of us. We ordered The Boss Pizza I don’t have that option below. Parking: I was here at 2:20 AM so I didn’t have any problems parking. I could see how it could be a problem during the day but I wouldn’t know.
Had a good pizza here and the boneless wings. So why five stars for only good on pizza? Because that wing sauce was fantastic. The right amount of spice and no vinegar after taste. If you’re looking for a good pizza delivery and wings, this is a great option.
I had another great experience at Pizzava tonight. I love that their menu has lots of options, tonight I got the Alfredo Penne Pizza. If you want to try something different, this is my go to.Food: 5/5
The pizza at Pizzzava, was decent but not exceptional. The crust was well-baked and the toppings were fresh, but the overall taste was a bit lackluster. The flavors didn’t quite pop, and it felt like something was missing in terms of seasoning or richness. It’s an okay choice if you’re craving pizza, but it might not satisfy those looking for a standout flavor experience.
Good pizza, and late hours makes it even better. I always ask for my pizza to be "Well done" just so it's a little more toasted and baked. The wings are meh... Not sure how they cook them, but they need to be cooked more. A little wiggly. HOWEVER, I do continue to order them, I just take them home and bake/broil them more
The Hawaiian pizza is excellent. We loved it. The only probably is that the extra large pizza really isn't extra large. While you get lots of slices they are small and the size probably would no feed more than 4 people . But this is the trend with all food establishments.Food: 4/5
I ordered a vegan cheese pizza that specified that it’s cauliflower and it was a dough. It doesn’t have the option of gluten free. I can’t have dough. And when I called they said that the vegan cheese pizza has regular flour… when it clearly says online that it is cauliflower.
Best pizza I’ve had in Reno. Stellar variety of toppings and customization. Service is amazing!! I didn’t think I’d even want BBQ pizza, but someone else ordered and offered and it smelled so good I couldn’t help myself. I’ve been a fan ever since!
Pizzava is brand new in town circa Jan 2018 and my new favorite Reno pizza place by far. They strike the ideal balance between quality, speed, and price: The ingredients are all super fresh with the pizza being made to order right in front of your eyes behind the counter glass. The dough is delicious and made in town by a local bakery. I ordered the BBQ chicken bacon pizza and absolutely loved it. The flavors blended perfectly with the premium cheese tying everything together nicely. I would describe the pizzas as medium slim crust, not too thick but not paper thin. They pile on the toppings which makes the medium size enough for two moderately hungry people. From order to table the pizzas are out in a blazing fast 7 minutes making Pizzava perfect for a quick meal. They have a variety of drinks to choose from, salads, and a delicious NY style cheesecake dessert. The restaurant interior is well designed with a modern feel to it. They have a few tables as well as some bar stool tables along the wall. They have upbeat music playing and there is a friendly atmosphere with the laid back staff. It connects with the soon to open Under the Rose brewery restaurant and Rum Sugar Lime cocktail lounge. I'm looking forward to the trio being fully open as it will be an awesome spot in midtown to frequent. I spoke quickly with the owners since it was opening day; they are definitely savvy with running a business, but they are also locals so they understand the Reno market. Pizzava is a great addition to Midtown and I look forward to going often.
I have picked up several times from Pizzava in the past for Doordash, and was always very happy with the service I got from the employees. So I decided to try them for the first time today. Got their lunch special and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food for the price and also the quality was great! If you are looking for a new pizza place, look no further. It also helps that they are open till 3am so those late night cravings can also be satisfied
