Love this place. Never had any issues with the work, and every visit is a fun experience. I read the negative reviews, and listen, Aaron's an old world guy you don't see much of anymore. If you're walking in with a "well I never, I'm the CUSTOMER" personality and a stopwatch without knowing how to gab, then yeah, maybe it isn't for you. This place will take care of you if you're good people, and that's why I was referred here by a friend in 2010 and I've been coming back since.

I won't go back. He likes to talk, but doesn't take proper notes on what you are asking him to do. He repeatedly told me to stop buying watches and buy other jewelry. Both of us clearly heard him say he would call when the work was done, so we went shopping and get coffee to kill time. He never called. Went back and they had closed for the day. Had to go back the next day, and he hadn't done the work correctly, didn't even have a list of what he was to do. Just unprofessional. If you go come with a typed list of work and go over it again before you leave the store and before you pay.

Stopped by to get a pin for a watch strap that bent on my sons watch. Gentleman was pleasant and can talk up a blue streak. Though, I felt he put me off because of what I needed when I asked for only the pin. He did get one out while helping customers that came in after me and put it on the counter. I told him that it was a tad bit too long and he kept helping others. Ten minutes after I had walked in ( husband timed me) I said thank you and walked out without the pin. I understand he was by himself and the "watch lady was at Wawa" but I felt that if he would've helped me I may have considered going back. He did have some pretty estate jewelry. I have been to other small jewelers in the past and felt that with his experience he could've handled finding a pin but felt pushed aside because I was not going to make him much money with my transaction.

Terrible! I recently purchased a lady's wrist watch from Macy's, and needing to have the links adjusted, a salesperson there referred me to PJ Giannini. I went to the store, only to be greeted by an extremely rude woman. I explained the adjustment that the watch would need, and she said it couldn't be done. Thinking that she might have misunderstood the request, I attempted to explain it again - only to be met with the same response. It seemed as though the man working there was more knowledgeable, so I explained the procedure to him, and he said: "Sure. Come back in an hour and half." When I returned to PJ Giannini, the woman begrudgingly presented my watch to me. She had not done the adjustment I requested, but rather something completely different. I politely stated that I thought there was a misunderstanding, but both of them held firm, saying it couldn't be done: "Go return it." I finally gave in: "Well, thank you for at least trying." On my way out, the woman (at least in her middle ages) MOCKED me in a high-pitched, childish voice - like that of an immature five year old. It was the most startling and inappropriate treatment I think I have ever received from a small business. Immediately afterward, I discovered "Alexander Horn & Co" right across the street from this store complex. Figuring I might as well give it a try, I explained the adjustment to the delightful man working there. He was courteous and funny... and fixed it perfectly in three minutes, right before my eyes! Long story short: go to Alexander Horn instead. They will get it done in a jiffy, and you won't be abused by rude salespeople in the process.
