PK Works built our house I designed from the ground up in the historic east side of Santa Fe. They are creative, industrious and conscientious in how they advise and execute their work. They do not shy away from custom work and in fact seem to relish any opportunity to do interesting and challenging work. They also have a good relationship with various city departments including the Historic Preservation Division which goes far in ensuring a smooth building process. Business partners Pete and Erin compliment each other well in their different skill sets creating a well balanced partnership needed to tackle all the challenges of building construction. They are resourceful in finding the best and most appropriate solutions to your needs. Through our building process, we struck up a great rapport and I won't hesitate to work with them again.

If you want it done right the first time, on schedule and on budget go with PK Works. We recently purchased a rental property which needed a fair amount of work done. The property is an authentic and historic adobe and we wanted to make sure that any new work done respected the cultural and artistic traditions of Santa Fe and the architecture itself, while not breaking our budget. Unfortunately the amount of work to be done and our modest budget made us choose among several contractors. We had PK replace the existing portal (really ugly) which had been added later in the buildings history and help to reveal vigas which were hidden under a drop ceiling in the bedroom. It came out perfect! PK works was on budget and done in good time even while dealing with several of the unexpected issues that are inherent to these old adobes. Sticking to budgets and timelines is normally a good thing to look for in contractors, but when it comes to these old buildings it is VITAL. In contrast to PK Works, we used several other area contractors for work on the building who's initial bids were less than PK but took substantially longer, came in over budget and the work had to be redone completely in some cases due to an apparent complete lack of understanding of engineering, physics and down right common sense, although (shame on us) background checks and due diligence would have sorted out SOME of those problems. Where the other contractors failed to listen and understand, PK works was the opposite and went above and beyond. The folks at PK works are honest, hardworking and skilled. We look forward to hiring them again.

Very unprofessional staff. I saw one of their company trucks cut another vehicle off and the incident turned into a road rage case. I saw both the driver and the passenger of the PK Works truck taunting and flipping off (giving the finger) the person who they had cut off. They must have noticed that I was recording with my phone and began flipping me off as well. (I currently have photos of this incident). I reported this to the company and no one ever called me back. Do NOT support this company!!! We need professionals in Santa Fe.
