My experiences with Planet Dental were usually easy-going, friendly and at times even fun. My last experience, i have to say was a dozy. My daughter needs some dental work done on some tooth decay. She had an appointment with one of their specialist. After many postponed appointments he was finally able to see her. So i take my daughter at 5:30 am ( we were literally the first ones there) her appointment was at 6 am.Doors did not open until 7. About 5 other families apart from us were waiting outside. Of course being a dental procedure, we were nervous. After all, who isn't afraid of the dentist. My daughter being a toddler cried all the time we were in the consultation room. The Assistant was a awesome he tried everything in his power to make her stop crying even as far as to get her a balloon. All that changed once the specialist came into the room. I knew from the get go he was not going to cater to no one. I don't know if her crying made him nervous but her crying (to me as a mom) made him very anxious and extremely uncomfortable. I thought to myself Isn't he trained to deal with distressed children? I'm sure at one time he even tried to muffle (but didn't) her mouth because she wasn't allowing him to speak to another assistant. Well once it came time for my daughter to drink  the "juice" she was out of control. She was scared hysterically crying, you name it. She was crying so much, when we forced her to drink the juice she threw it up. One of the many assistants in the room went to locate the specialist to tell him what had happened. The specialist then comes into the room and completely stopped the procedure. He stated my daughter was uncooperative and the only way she would get the procedure done is she is under complete sedation.He referred us to another specialist but on the referral he put my daughter was uncooperative and refused to drink the juice. I think that is bending the truth since technically she did drink it.  I don't know if i am overreacting but i just can't shake this off. I feel like we just thrown to the curb without any compassion or empathy. I am not saying the name of the specialist because i believe that would be going to far. I just wanna say to all the parents out there, listen to your gut feelings because i knew from the beginning this wasn't gonna go right. I believe even my young toddler felt it.

Great customer service and great with the kids.  The staff in the back are well trained and excellent hands for any type of dental work.

I had a great experience on my first visit to this location way better then the one located on guadalupe not to mention the staff and the receptionists are very friendly will definitly stick with this location and totally recommend it 😊👍

I really like bringing my son here for the professionalism and SOME of the staff is really courteous and friendly, especially in the back. What I am unsatisfied with is they're scheduling. If the child is to be seen (scheduled) at 1130 and they bring him in at 1245 is what I have trouble with. They could work a little better at their scheduling times. I mean 30 mins, reasonable, but over an hour when scheduled? It's not a walk in.
