I came here with some vegan friends I liked where this place was located. It was very bright and well lit. Our server wasn't the best and he sounded like he didn't wanted to be there. And they were out of a lot of the things my friends order. I have to say that the sushi was my favorite it taste it like the real deal. The burger wasn't the best. The pizza's were yummy and the pasta was very spicy, the salads were good too. The cartoon drink shown on the picture taste it a bit like a piña colada. I might not come back here since it wasn't my style of food but if you are vegan or into healthy meals this will be a fantastic option for you.
Nice remodeled restaurant at City Place location used to be Panera Bread. Vegan Restaurant which you don’t realize it’s vegan until you read the ingredients in the dishes. Service is really good. Food was good but not too many options to pick from the menu. The Fully Loaded Nachos were big and tasty. The Planta Burger was a little below our expectations. Drinks are awesome and the outside bar is really nice. As mentioned before I only wish the menu had a little more options. For sure I will visit the outside bar again.
I have no words except that I have a lot of words… but goddam! this was our second time here in two weeks. Everything we’ve tried was phenomenal. We had the dragon roll sushi, the bang bang broccoli my fave, I had this both times the bad buns there’s 1 per order but we ordered two the cauliflower tots, the lettuce rolls and the habibi bowl. The fried Brussel sprouts with the lettuce rolls were 10/10! They should be their own appetizer! Our server was Dylan and he was so great! All his recommendations were super tasty. The cocktails are also really good. Always looking forward to visiting again when I’m back in town.
Yummy and creative vegan food! We ordered off the brunch menu. I really liked their take on shakshuka, the sauce was very creamy and the fritters were delicious! The dish comes with sourdough flat bread which pairs well with the sauce. The french toast had really good flavor but after a while it does get tougher to chew lol. I will definitely return and try their cocktails and sushi options!
Beautiful decor and aesthetic. Came in with a friend on a walk-by in City Place. The lady at the reception area was kind enough to offer us a booth, even thought it's by appointment only. We got in 10 minutes before dinner. We were handed lunch specials menus, but the waiter that served us told us unfortunately it was dinner time after we waited a few minutes to be seen and had our menus switched to the dinner special. Understandable... The price range was a big jump. But I imagine it was due to the fact portion sizes are bigger for dinner. The food was delicious, the staff was kind. My friends meal did take a bit of time, but the waitress was kind enough to give her a complimentary refill of her drink. All in all will definitely come back to try the lunch specials next time.
Planta is a beautiful restaurant as you can see in the photos. I stopped by and had a drink then realized the place my friend and I were meeting was actually on the second floor. The food here is all plant based so make sure you know that beforehand. While I didn't try the food, the decor is amazing. If your into the vegan lifestyle, Planta to me looks like a great spot to visit.
We have visited this place previously and had wonderful experience. Our server was Roman with very attentive and pleasant personality. He helped us to navigate the menu since it was our first time and explained how everything works. So we raves about Planta to our friends and invited them to join us next time. The second time around it wasn’t as fabulous. The veggie burger was 86. But that’s ok, it’s not a big deal when some items are missing from the menu. It’s the approach that matters. The missing items need to be announced at the moment when the guest receives the menu, either by a host or, at least, when the server approaches the table for the first time. In our case, our server I can’t remember his name, I believe it was some combination of initials came to greet us, allowed us to browse through the menu, came back with drinks, checked in few times. Although too casual but pleasant. And only when we already made our selections, we were told that the burger was not available. Bummer! At this point it is kind of late, don’t you think? The consistency is key in any successful business, especially restaurant. It takes good management to achieve that. Seems that Planta needs an improvement in this area. The food is wonderful however. Really feels that the chef puts its heart and soul into these creations, and we will be back to try more!
Awesome vegan resto! Love that its high end so its wonderful for date night but prices are definitely reasonable for the quality of the dishes and ingredients so its good for any night as well! Ambiance is awesome and service was great! They also had wonderful wine selections! Cant wait to come back and try more dishes! Id also love to bring non-vegans because I know they’d love it too! Great selection of dishes & dessert was so fantastic Ill be dreaming about it for a month lol!
Excellent flavors and quality! The food was visually stunning, and very tasty. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the servers were very attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back!
We tried Planta without realizing it’s menu is plant-based, however, we were pleasantly surprised by the options and delicious food. We shared a pizza with cauliflower crust, which was cooked to perfection. And also a watermelon sushi, win which was very tasty. The service was attentive & the atmosphere upscale yet comfortable. This is a very well-run restaurant that pays attention to its customers. We highly recommend.
